Brilliant location right under Kili. Loved the tent - super luxury
Buffet food is never quite as good as freshly cooked to order.
5.0
Staff were excellent ( Bernard, Duncan, Griffin, Chef, Hotel mgr)
Food was great, Chef was very accommodating and doled out Kenyan dishes on request. Also has good veg options.
Sleep quality was good, mattress are pretty comfy for people with back problems & better than many 5 stars in Kenya.
We stayed 2 nights and could do safari for a day , Bernard helped us by optimizing park entrance fees else we would have overpaid!
Air Mombasa damaged our bag lock it was not opening and we had a hard time but the hotel staff were very helpful in opening.
The hotel has great views of Mt Kilimanjaro and is close to the park gates, good access to get in to park and also to go out on highways.

We were four friends (two from the USA, one from Serbia and one from Kenya). We booked Kibo for three days through booking.com.
As we reached, we found that the internet access to our rooms was difficult. Immediately, we complained, and we found that the internet has no solution. We were not able to stay as we were all businesspeople who were communicating with their business branches. So we decided to cancel for the rest of two days. The manager said they charge us two days and refund one day. However, they have never communicated with us.

clean, well located, we had a different room than the one advertised
the price and the extra billing gif the drink when it was advertised as Al inclusive. the food could be much better for the price

The tents where nice with view on the Kilimanjaro
Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay
The food was nice and there was plenty of choice
5.0
A really lovely place where all the buildings are tents. So you get an authentic safari-feeling. The staff who are a great many are extremely attentive and discret. The bar with its nice tenders ( especially Tobiko ) is a wonderful place for a sundowner. Also the pool area is quite beatiful. But best of all: the incredible view of Kilimandjaro! You can ´t get enaugh!
The wifi is very weak or rather not existent. As we had to make our online check-in for our flight back home we had to sit in the lobby where the wifi still worked if slowly but to some degree if you era not in a hurry. And the „street“ leading to the camp is a challenge even for 4x4 cars.

The location was fantastic, very convenient access to Amboseli Safari Park, only 15 mins away.
The breakfast at Amboseli was amazing, excellent choices and very friendly and attentive staff.
Everything was just great. The staff, the food choices, they even cooked us a special request meal and masala chai.

Extremely attentive staff
Hard to say. If anything, I'd say lack of vegetarian options. But tbh, everything was top notch.

Stunning views and proximity to Amboseli National Reserve. Super comfy beds and a rustic hut. Friendly staff and yummy food. Great value for money, highly recommend!
The internet was flakey. But it was a good thing, I could finally lay down my cell for a few days.

We had a wonderful time at Kibo Safari camp. The accommodation is pure luxury and the service is beyond excellent. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the food in the restaurant is different everyday and very tasty. The views overlooking Kilimanjaro are magnificent. I can’t fault the place. We stayed for 6 nights, it was the perfect location to relax and is only a couple of minutes drive to the entrance of Amboseli National park where you will go on the most memorable game drive. For us it was the trip of a lifetime, however if we visit again we will definitely go back to Kibo.

Very attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and comfortable facilities, sparkly swimming pool and an excellent buffet.
As with most buffets, there’s often a lack of a vegetarian protein main meal creativity and always a standard spaghetti and red sauce or a curry of sorts. Kibo’s dinners offered better variety with the addition of a pizza oven, tandoori oven with fresh naan and veggies galore.

Location was very close to Amboseli Park entrance. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The rooms were spacious and comfy. We were priviledged to be upgraded to a Family Tent.
The overall food spread and taste (particularly of Desserts) should have been better for the price paid. Tea/coffee provision in the room not available. Fullboard basis should atleast include water at the restaurent.

cool style of the lodge
value for money just not good. room is very dark and compared to other lodges small. very crowded at dinner and breakfast. breakfast just not good.

Very friendly staff. The tents are great and very comfortable.
Big choice at the buffet, and good quality.
We will come back!
