This is the perfect place to get away from everything! It’s quaint and great for family & dogs!

The little lane going up to it was very bumpy & the wooden table out the back in the pictures isn’t there anymore.

The location was definitely very quiet and it was very relaxing not to have T.V. As we were situated far from the main road, the dog enjoyed walking off the lead and we had no worries about encountering any traffic. On our first walk out into the mountain we saw a wild deer about 100m ahead of us on the path. Not sure who was the most shocked!

This accommodation was in a very secluded location and the very long country lane leading to it was quite rough in places. The preparation and maintenance could have been better. There was a strong smell of ash/soot from the very large fireplace which was situated in the middle of the ground floor and the smell permeated throughout the house. The electrics were a bit dodgy as well. We never discovered how to get hot water from the shower as there was a note in the hot-press telling us not to turn the switch on as this would cause a problem with the heating system. Some of the utensils in the kitchen had seen better days and really needed replaced.
