I booked an ocean view room and it was amazing! The breakfast was yummy, the staff was friendly, & my room was clean. One thing, I did hear an American couple not enjoy the music in the breakfast area. They said it was too loud for them so keep that in mind when you book. For me the music gave it a great vibe!

There was no hot water, our bathroom completely flooded when we took a cold shower, There was mold, it was dated and dirty and dingy. Would not recommend.

I had to wait an hour past the time the room was supposed to be ready. The price for the drinks were extremely expensive and you have to watch out because they add a tip to your receipt without asking you so you have to be careful of that. It's a nice location but based on the service I would look elsewhere first.

Great little place in el laguito. I’d recommend getting the jacuzzi room.

The service was incredibly attentive, and and friendly. And they even allowed us to stay until 2 o’clock in order to enjoy the morning and head to the airport later in the afternoon, without any additional cost. Also, an incredible location, walking distance to the beach and all of the commerce and restaurants in the area. We had a third-floor ocean view suite a boat, 20 m from the water, which was absolutely spectacular. Considering the price this to me was an incredibly good value.

We loved staying at the Hotel Caribbean !!! We had an ocean front room on the top floor and it was a big room , with a jacuzzi. The hotel is in a quiet area with restaurants and nice beaches close by. Staff was great. Best part was the price was very reasonable

As a first time to Columbia traveler safety was a huge concern, I never felt more safe than when I was here. The kitchen staff made me feel at home. Look for Jimmy he is always smiling and willing to help. The front desk is very accommodating. As an English speaker with limited Spanish the front desk always found a way to make it work. The views from hotel are amazing. At the end of the day sitting by the pool and talking with other guest was a tradition and a great way to plan what to do tomorrow. I look forward to coming back.

Didn't have wifi in my room nor cellular signal. Had to sit outside to talk on the phone. Check in is not until 3pm so if you come earlier they will be gladly to hold your bags

The only “good thing” about this hotel was some friendly staff. Breakfast, 6/10. Rooms 3/10. Not a good experience, to be honest. The pros: close beaches, 24 hours markets next to the hotel, a lot of restaurants around.

The staff were not very friendly it felt like an inconvenience that we were even there! In the mornings, it was just my friend and I reading by the pool yet they turned the music up full blast when a song the staff liked came on. They also added drinks to our bill that we did not have and did not help us resolve this issue.

This property is very clean. It has a wonderful beachfront location. The staff at the front desk and wait staff were wonderful and very friendly. The free breakfast that is included in the stay is satisfactory, but the fruit, especially dragon fruit delightful. The coffee is also excellent. The location is perfect as it sits beachfront with a currency exchange to your left that offers better exchange rates than customs at the airport or in the United States. It has a minimart to the left or to the right to get water drinks or soda. There is also a pharmacy across the street which we were able to obtain some aloe vera ointment that was amazing for my sunburn lol. It is on the south side of Cartagena and takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to the city via Uber. The holiday Inn is four hotels down and has wonderful cabanas at their beach club and phenomenal ceviche for the price and cleanliness. I would rate this hotel a solid 4.5.

The restaurant has a limited menu. The pool area looks way better online. 1 day there was no water. Front desk staff in the morning speak no english. Ladies in the dinning area not friendly

We had an awesome stay here. Incredible staff, truly incredible taff and management. We pent a lot of time at the pool and bar/restaurant. Great food and drinks. There had been a big storm the night before our arrival and the pool area received a bit of sand and sea water. There were so many staff members pitching in on clean up it was done in no time at all. Incredible team work at this hotel and a great value. Lots of nice and interesting other guests as well. Only initial downside was no window in our room to the outside. Did not matter as we were out at the pool or exploring the whole time when not sleeping. Highly recommend.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our oceanfront room also fronted the outdoor pools and the bar/restaurant, which were noisy past 10 pm. Cleaning staff did a nice job. The room was a bit Spartan. We had to ask for a table and chairs and there was no place to unpack our bags. The breakfast was ample and hearty.

Awesome Jacuzzi suite, bed was vary comfortable, Awesome view , staff are wonderful.....stayed 4 different times & definitely great value

The room was amazing, it had a large window facing the ocean, the room was pretty clean but notice the floor dirty but it could be due to the winds. The room had a Jacuzzi.

Pool, Jacuzzi, Beach and free breakfast, what more can you ask for? The only con is the the traffic congestion during peak hours to and from El Laguito so plan accordingly!
