The staff is really welcoming and will go out of your way to help. The location is right on the lake and away from the crowds. It’s a great place to go to relax and enjoy the different lake activities.

The place is beautifully situated in an area full of banana trees and coffee plants, with perfect views and direct access to the lake. The owner and employees are super friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, and the hostel offers everything one could need, including kayaks for rental, free drinking water, and the infrastructure to wash and dry clothes. Overall, a real gem of a hostel!
Getting there requires a short walk on a poorly lit path, but which nevertheless feels safe despite low visibility at night.

Gerson is building this beautiful ecletic paradise on earth on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Very friendly staff, picked me up from the centre of San Juan by quad and showed the town, and helped me join a worthwile Indian Nose sunset tour. As the place is quite new some facilities are still being built but the experience is 100% worth it. Very close to the town for all amenities (5 minute walk). I trust Gerson, his wife and the owner to make this one of the most memorable spots in Guatemala, beautifully nested between the farms and with great ways to enjoy the lake.
Private rooms currently do not have an en-suite shower or sink, only a toilet (but will have them in the future).

The best place I stayed! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They really cared to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They went the extra mile to make us breakfast, arrange tours for us and even offer a shuttle to the airport. Thank you so much!

My stay was perfect. The team working there was super kind and accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a sunrise view of the lake. Everything was really clean and the water is gorgeous by the dock.

The location is spectacular and very quiet and peaceful. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, Gerson even gave us a lift to the ferry on his quad bike in case we were running late! Lots of activities available at the property too and just a short walk from everything in the town.

These guys really went above and beyond to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. I was able to check in early and was moved into my own room at no extra cost, so that I could feel safe as a solo female traveller. They were so generous with making sure I had everything I needed, from explaining where to buy credit for my phone, to lending me a charger, to even dropping me off at the dock with all my bags.
If your looking for a chilled space on the lake this is the spot. The hot water shower was a winner and the bed was very comfortable!
I would of liked to be able to lock the door from the inside, but wasn't too worried as the area felt very safe and a staff member was always on site.
I wish there was somewhere to soak up the sun and sunback that wasn't on the dock that was constantly banged by the peddle bikes or out on the water. But small things I know not a concern for minority I'm sure.

Incredible hospitality, great package deal with unlimited use of water bikes/boards/kayaks. Best location on the lake in San Juan. Jerson and Carlos were so helpful ordering pizza to the place and coordinating anything needed.
Wifi service could be more reliable, pillows a bit comfier, and if possible hot water :)

It's a really nice, quiet and laid back place by the lake in San Juan. Great to chill out, do water activities or do trips to the other villages. I got a free upgrade when I arrived - the deluxe familiy rooms are absolutely fantastic. The mix of private rooms and dorms gives a nice mix of different travellers. The staff/owners are beyond friendly, they really try their everything to make you feel comfortable, communication workes really well. It was one of my nicest stays in Guatemala, if I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely stay here again!
The only thing I'd mention is that there is not always hot water - not a big issue at all though when it's warm and you're at this place. :)

Le personnel était vraiment accueillant et arrangeant ! Le lieu a un potentiel incroyable et unique car vous avez un ponton avec accès direct au lac. Ne reculez pas devant l’équipement restreint du lieu, il vous offre l’opportunité de vous rapprocher de la nature et des gens… La localisation est parfaite !
