Nothing
The hotel was so poor ،facilities very bad and the bed was'nt comfortable .Everything was so old and Broken. The shower was so tiny didn't have space. The stairs at the hotel were so wonky.Didn't worth the money that we paid for 2 nights £170.

Nothing as NO HOT WATER
Hotels are required to provide basic amenities like hot water, and failing to do so can be considered a breach of contract or a violation of consumer protection laws.
No hot water is considered as an emergency and thus should be resolved within 24 hours as an acceptable 'reasonable time'
Hotel room had no hot water for 3 out of 4 nights stay.
Reception no help whatsoever and didn't really seem bothered.
Saving grace they moved us to a room on the last night that did have hot water!

Location, tea & Coffee in the room.
The room floor was uneven especially in the bathroom, you could not get all the channel on the TV. Room was very warm

TV channels limited with poor reception and a tv remote which doesn’t work particularly well…

Location, cleanliness and staff were wonderful.
The shower in the bathroom kept dripping all night and it wasn’t very powerful.

I loved the history of the building and the location

first time staying here. last minute booking. I stayed in room 3
check in was quick and easy, even though I arrived a little later than anticipated.
The bed was really comfortable. had a great nights sleep!
. clean and tidy room!
bathroom was good! had a old hotel style to it! which I thought was nice..
can't really fault my stay . although I did have problems with the electronic key card they give you. as a smoker wanting to go outside, I got stuck outside at 11:30 in my pyjamas as the key card didn't work! had to call a number (luckily I had my phone) , in which a lady came down, when I explained to her what had happened, she sort of made me feel bad! asked if I'm going need to go outside again, (possibly I'm a smoker) besides the point...looked at her watch and huffed!! slightly rude! and just told me to prop door open
definitely check it works if you plan on leaving the building :)
.other than that, I couldnt fault the stay side of things. :) I would stay again!

No restaurant facilities
Breakfast ordering was awkward
No atmosphere anymore

The price and location
The staff were not trained at all or just didn't know or didn't want to know and the two rooms I booked were not cleaned the following day and no tea facilities were left and when asked oh that's not right. The water pressure was so low you could not have a shower

Very friendly staff, especially the lovely lady at the bar counter. Very helpful, gave us a lot of good information.
None.
It’s not a big cooperative chain hotel so there is full of characters

It was ideal for our vist to The Bicester Heritage Centre
On the day we arrived, they had shut the kitchen due to a hot water problem so we were unable to have an evening meal or breakfast the next morning.
These things happen but it wouldn't put me off staying there again

Woke up to a pigeon roosting on the top of my wardrobe. Place needs closing down and total refurbishment

Staff were friendly, acknowledged our complaint and provided complimentary glass of wine.
I try to help local business and walked into the hotel to ask if they had any rooms available and enquired what the rate was. I'm never that happy when they do have rooms available but offer a rate than is higher than what can be found on Booking.com (hotel quoted £80.00, we ended up booking via Booking.com for £63.00) especially when this is late in the evening (8PM).
Whilst being right in the heart of Bicester the location was initially appealing, however this turned out to be the hotels downfall as we stayed on our Saturday night and the noise from the drunks outside went on till 4AM. The room was warm and you could feel the heat increasing as you walked up the two flights of stairs to the room. The bathroom was excessively warm and the shower was just a trickle of water which kept going hot then cold. The staff were very friendly and they've only had the venue for 4 weeks, but they really need to speak to local authorities or the police regarding the horrendous noise generated outside on a Saturday Night. I've stayed in hotels with work for over 18 years and it's the worst nights sleep that I've ever had.

Great location
Room decoration needed, hope I’m carpet under the radiator. Radiator pipe running through the room. Red hot in august. Fan didn’t work.

Comfortable room

Right in the centre of the town very good
There was no service to the room during my stay the coffee and milk ran out also the toilet paper ran out I had to go to the main hotel toilet and steal some and the room I was in at the very top of the hotel I don't know how this passed a fire inspection because of the steep narrow winding stairs

Central to Bicester, large car park. Comfortable bed, large room. Quiet. Good thing it was not 9verly expensive. We gt what we paid for.
Looked a little tired, carpet not very clean. No breakfast and no one around when we left in the morning.

Excellent location in town centre. Walking distance to Bicester Village or train station to Oxford
Nothing

Close to Bicester Village, cheapest option for 1 night at the time.
Restricted check in by 9pm is not helpful. Shower pressure non existent, cold tap was loose and leaked everywhere, the fan provided was useless so good job it wasn't really hot. The whole place needs redecorating and the towels were not absorbent. Awful place and glad i was only there for 1 night.
TV was tiny, crumbling walls and creeking floors.
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues that can't drag luggage up loads of stairs and multiple fire doors to your room.

Great communications prior to arriving. Professional & freindly welcome. Felt right at home, we were shown to our rooms and spoke about the history of the building. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean. the bed in our room was very comfortable &. we had a massive bathroom. We were very pleased.
Our room, as right at the top of the building was a little bit hot, but it was an unusally warm morning. There was a fan and this did help. Maybe two could have been better, or another cooler or aircon? But I wouldn't let that put me off satying again.
