The floor was sand-covered when we walked into the room. Mold in the bathroom.

I love that the hotel was right on the beach, and had the most beautiful sunrise, but guests threw trash right out the door unto the beach, the spa was ice cold. The beds are in need of upgrading.

The room was nice. But had no hot water. Half the electric didn't work. The pool was green and cold, Jacuzzi was cold. The water park was nothing more than a splash pad. And no breakfast. My sinks were dirty and the horel soap was wet when I checked in. If there has been an opening elsewhere I would have left.

It was very nice the room was very dark for sleeping, I love that.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We watched the sunrise then walked the bridge.

For the price we were expecting a bit more of a upscale room. No hot water and bathroom sink was plugged. Beds were clean and comfortable but you were unable to see the tv from the bed.

Back door did not lock. Seems they did remodeling but never finished. raw wood tounge and Grove. Used the old sloppy outlets. Toilet seat broken. Screen on screen door falling apart

The sheets were stained, the mattress had stains (yes I look). The carpet was sticky.

After a long drive felt great to find this hotel. The beds are very comfortable. We had a double room with was an amazing option travelling with kids. The view of the lake was beautiful in the morning. It can be cleaned better on the doors, handles and windows but we enjoyed the stay. The hotel couldn’t accommodate a late check out, we arrived at 11:00pm and I wish we had and extra hour but was not possible so we wake up early to enjoy the pool and the beach.

It was quiet and nice rooms

The room was very nice and updated. Cleanliness of the room was just fine, except the fact that there were gnats invading the room, and they seemed to stem from the bathroom? Assuming they were coming from the drain. Very bothersome. Luckily we spent most of our time outside the hotel or walking Mackinaw. The beach was full of trash. The parking lot was full of trash. No recycling bins, and the front desk attendant clearly did not want anything to do with working. I think next time we will be paying the extra $80 a night to stay at a name brand hotel.

I wont stay here again. Heres the good and the bad. The room was remodeled recently. Looks fantastic. Fake wood floor (looks good), new shiplap walls, new dresser and table with 2 chairs. Looks can be deceiving. Parking sucks! Very limited parking. Vehicles were taking multiple spots and two people had boats on trailers parked sideways taking up 4 to 7 spots each! Told staff we couldnt find parking and asked them very nicely if they could have the boats be moved to ferry parking. They refused and told us we could park next door and walk to our hotel. Seriously! I dont think so!! With the new floors not being carpet the floor is cold even for summer. Plus we could feel EVERY grain of sand on the floor. Took shoes off and could feel it on the floor. Wondered how well the floor was swept by housekeeping. The beds are on wheels. Went to sit down and the bed moved about a foot! Would move easily and could not stop it. Went to look for breaks on the bed and thats when we noticed NO ONE HAS EVER CLEANED UNDER THE BED!!! There was dirt, dust and wrappers under both beds!! So gross. The screen door to the "porch" was stuck. Couldnt get it to close. It was stuck open so the beautiful glass door was not an option to leave open. The bathroom looked clean but dont turn on the water. There was such a loud sound coming from thr walls whenever us or the neighbors used water and a dripping sound from it going down the drain.

Tremendous view of Lake Huron, right on the beach. Lock for entry to room needs to be repaired. Key got stuck and needed to manipulate doorknob to insert and remove. Shuttle pick up for ferry to Mackinac Island was a great amenity, offered to all hotels in area.

It’s a good place to stay, but had some details that could be improved, friendly staff, everything is close we could leave the car parked and walk downtown, recommended.

We liked that it had a balcony looking at the beach of Lake Huron. However, other guests were smoking pot and the smell just lingered on the outdoor patio…like wafted from other patios! I don’t think this should be allowed. Couldn’t enjoy sitting out there. The fireworks could be viewed from there too, but not only was my morn coffee patio time shortened but couldn’t stand the smell for fireworks either! Breakfast was off site but we got a coupon.

there was garbage bags in the stair ways that didn't get picked up in a timely manner It wasn't as clean as I thought it should be

“Waterpark” was not open. Indoor pool was freezing. Lounge chairs on the beach were falling apart. Lightning fixtures in room did not work.

This is an older hotel that I had stayed in years ago. BUT!! It has been beautifully renovated with blonde knotty pine walls. Smelled like fresh wood(which I love!) when we walked through the door. The lady in the office was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed on the bottom level, which had a beautiful glass walk out door to a little patio on the beach. Beds were comfy. Have absolutely no complaints! Will stay here again

A decent hotel located right on the water

Close to ferry. Beachfront. But older.

First, address is incorrectly listed so difficult to find. Pool broken entire weekend so kids unable to swim. Room was not clean. Newly installed wood walls looked nice but not cleaned up and saw dust all over floors. Mold on wall behind toielt. Shower curtain dirty. Hair all over shower. The bed side table was sticky and dirty phone. My child needed new shirts from a drink spill , front desk not able to find any so gave us blankeylt and flat sheet. When we changed the sheets we found old chips in between the sheets- not ours!!!! Beautiful views with semi clean beach, close to everything just not kept up at all.

The motel was nice and the stuff was very helpful and nice. The room had clean towels and sheets but they never cleaned the microwave, fridge, swept any of the floors or even wiped anything off. Apparently you have to tell the front desk if you want your room cleaned? Mattresses were old but not uncomfortable. They had a small “waterpark” with hot tub. The hot tub was not hot at all. Overall it was decent for the price.

First of all this was not the property I thought I had booked at. When I got there the price was $40 more than I had expected. Somehow I thought I booked it a little hotel further down the strip for way less money. Finally found the right hotel that had my reservation. Very limited parking for a building of that size. And. On the 4th floor no elevators, which really suck for two older women with bad knees. It's an older building that looks like they have tried to update it. But the tile in the bathroom was dirty the towels had stains on them there was sand in our room when we got there. Cobwebs the balcony window was dirty. Saturday morning what we're trying to sleep in the cleaning staff was pretty loud in the rooms around us. I will not see if that hotel again and I will not ever book through Expedia again.
