The hotel is perfectly located with walking distance to many of the sites and only minutes away from public transport. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. There is a very nice bar and good cafe/restaurant in the hotel. The staff was very friendly. I can highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it. So close to many sights. Even though this hotel is located in highly trafficked area, the room was nice and quiet. Perfect for a restful night sleep.

This hotel should absolutely not get 4 stars. Compared to other 4 star hotels in Lisbon Ive stayed I would give it 2 stars. The check in service was terrible, confusing and disorganized. There was no welcome smile to greet us. There are two people standing behind a bar desk who don't seem to even pretend to be nice. That's the only service you get during the whole stay. No one to help with luggage or no concierge to help with recommendations . The same two people do everything. No wonder they are disinterested in the guests. You may as well be staying in an apartment . Be aware that breakfast is not included. We had a corner room which had no cupboard space, only hanging space with 6 hangers and I felt we were camping in an apartment as we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases. Side bed tables are impractical for a hotel stay .Beds were comfortable. Location was excellent but very busy and noisy almost all day and night, if you open the windows for fresh air. The nearby streets were closed off so ubers and taxis cant come to the hotel which is very inconvenient. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There are really far better ones for the same price in Lisbon. I chose it because of its good recommendations .

We love Pestana Augusta and will for sure go back or to any other branch of Pestana :) We were sceptical at first with the high price, space area but everything from location, staff, amenities and room were worth it and every penny . Our room was located with a small balcony (european style) right on Augusta street by the arch - which was wonderful to have a look at. Therefore, room can be a bit noisy (until 11pm) with street performances, people walking. The family room - with 2 separated rooms permit our young child to sleep in the room in the back - with all the quietness . The staff has been wonderful, helping us with recommendations. Overall, everything was beautiful, clean, well maintained and in a perfect location
