Convenient location, property was clean and nice. Motel style rooms near a busy road so there is a bit of noise but nothing excessive. The front desk staff was really great, he was very friendly, gave a little tour and was just very helpful. I travel a lot and he was one of the best check in staff I have ever had.

Missing our ferry after a family gathering, we had to stay in Courtenay booking at the last minute. What a nice surprise. The night manager was courteous and friendl. He walked us to our unit and had lots of pride in the building. Showers were. Bed was cosy and the whole was immaculate. Highly recommend

This hotel has been remodelled tastefully by new owners, who are incredibly friendly. The room felt very special with unique fixtures and features. Beds were comfy. Their attitude and kindness made for a great stay. Parking was easy. I recommend highly.

I’ve never been to a motel room that is this compact (hardly able to get into the bathroom). When the basin faucet turned on, you got splashed and the TV quit in mid programme. In its favour, the shower was very good. In future stays, I’d opt to pay more and stay at a more familiar brand.

Check-in was relatively easy and quick. Staff was very personable and friendly. Parking was readily available right in front of the unit/room. The room amenities were great, including comfortable beds, a microwave, large enough mini fridge and what looked to be a 55" TV. The cleanliness of the room was also to be commended and yes the rainfall shower head with hand held was a very nice feature in the shower. Another mirror in the room itself, other than the one in the bathroom, would be welcome. Also there wasn't an ice bucket in the room, not sure if one isn't provided or if it was just an oversight in the room. Over the three nights there, unfortunately the room was never cleaned/made up due to what appeared to be the door sign falling off due to the wind or breeze. However the staff was very apologetic and immediately responded to my request for fresh/new towels, cups and the emptying of the room garbage bins. Hopefully the use of a better designed door sign will prevent it from easily being dislodged from the door handle in the future in order to prevent this problem.

Newly renovated nice clean rooms. Comfy beds, excellent staff who go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I would recommend this motel, close to everything too.

Only unfortunate that the pool was not open and a great addition would be a hot tub. But 10/10 experience on the room and hospitality from staff
