He had a pleasant stay in Travel Inn Gilroy.

The Area arriving to the hotel is not the greatest but that is not the property's fault the rooms while on the older side were very clean and perfectly usable. Microwave and fridge in the room. Close enough but very price conscious.

Excellent value for the money! Clean room and comfortable. Felt safe, too. Can't really ask for more. The rooms have fridge and microwave. My only feedback (not negative, just feedback) is that the fridge was slightly dirty inside. There is no shampoo provided, but that's expected for the price. Saw at least two cats living outside, looking a little thin. Worried about them, but I think the owner is feeding them or at least giving water!

The place was decently clean, except for some ants in the bathroom. We requested a different room, and it was given to us. We got what we pay for it. It was OK.

The location is away from restaurants and stores but it is quiet and the room is clean.

Water pressure too high! Shower was full blast or off. Flooded bathroom floor in only 5 minutes. Toilet ran constantly. No shelf in shower for soap. No tissues. Limited towel rack. No light near bed. Homeless encampment next door.

The Good: The place is clean and relatively modern - looks like it's been refurbished within the last few years. The staff is friendly and helpful. Checkin was easy. The rate was reasonable for the area. The shower was hot, the TV worked, no observable bugs. There are power points in the room next to the bed. The Bad: Very spartan.No coffee in room or in office! Had to go to restaurants to get morning coffee (This is a major sin, IMO) Only overhead lights, no bedside or reading lamps. Towels thin. No products except for two silver dollar sized soaps. No shelf for soap in the shower. Ice machine requires quarters to get ice. TV works but is difficult to figure out. The Ugly: Not the hotel's fault, but there are a bunch of occupied junk trailers and campers next door on the street, surrounded by trash, so we were forced to drive to nearby restaurants to avoid walking by this mess. The neighborhood has several of these homeless encampments.

OK, ALTHOUGH BEDS WERE TOO SMALL FOR TWO AND THE FLOOR WAS DIRTY.

Our stay at Travel Inn Gilroy was disappointing. The room was unsanitary with hair under the sheets and stains on the chair, suggesting poor cleanliness standards. The bed, made of noisy metal, made it hard to sleep. The location wasn't ideal either. Overall, we wouldn't recommend staying here.

Wasn’t terrible. Did the job for just needing a place to sleep. Spent most of the day out anyway.

This was our second stay at Travel Inn and the service warms my heart. We were stuck in a traffic jam on the 101 and the owner called me to make sure I was alright because it was getting late and I had not checked in yet. He was so genuinely caring for my partner and my welfare. As usual, it was nice and clean, close to the highway and lots of food options. The kitty cat that lives on the property is so sweet and likes to sleep in the planter on the corner. Five stars as usual. Thank you again for your care! Good luck with your courtyard garden!

Short driving distance to shopping centers and food services. Location is right off the freeway making access easy and convenient.

Super nice people when we checked in. Rooms were very clean. Super quiet. Never heard anyone else.

The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly, but her husband was polite. Then our room was dingy, dated and bathroom was dirty with a few dead bugs and hair in the drain. The other guests looked shady as heck. Then while we got in our car about to leave, there was cops EVERYWHERE and guns drawn at some of the hotel guests. Looked like something bad happened with several getting arrested. Omg, the worst stay ever and I’m not exaggerating. Don’t stay here.

Everything was pre descent until saw some few dead bugs in the bathroom.

Rooms were nice and large. Room temperature was perfect. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Old school loved it

The room was clean and comfortable, but offered no "extras" of any kind. That, however, was more than offset by the kindness shown to me by the manager on duty. I had forgotten my cell phone charger, and he not only produced one to fit my phone model, but insisted on delivering it to my room personally.

Clean, simple, and cheap. The staff was nice and accommodating when our first room smelled like smoke they immediately gave us a new room.

WiFi was terrible. No cell signal, so you need WiFi.

Location right off of the 101 and very close to lots of amenities. Pretty roses and cute fruit trees all over! Looks like the old pool is being converted to a garden. Adorable stray cat on property is very sweet. Owner and his wife were kind and polite. Very very affordable and was close enough to Monterey for our purposes. Right by the 152. Only 20 minutes from Casa de Fruta!

Host and wife were very kind and helpful. Quiet and well kept up.

Decent motel an hour south of San Francisco. A bit noisy with the freeway but the place is good value for what you pay. The check-in guy was very friendly!

Looks shady but overall good place for a quick stay. Has everything you need. My fiance was very uncomfortable in the bed but I was fine.

There were ants in the bathroom. Holes in the bathroom shower. Fan in bathroom was hanging. I was unable to sleep comfortably.

The property manager was nice. No complaints
