Excellent hoast. Sanjay the Inn Keeper and Shubhendu at the front desk took care us. And when there were some problems they were promptly attended to.
Plumbing and electrical issues .

Good location near the Norbulingka Institute. Staff tried hard. Some meals were good. Beds were comfortable. Staff brought extra heaters after we complained about the poor heating.
Rooms very cold on arrival and could have been warmed ready. Rooms not serviced because we apparently had to ask for this but that was not communicated to us. Some meals were cold and for one the meat was inedible. The meals were delivered randomly to us and so we were eating at different times - some of us finished before the others started. Parts of meals (mainly breakfast) would be forgotten. The menu is too extensive. We chose from the Indian sections but parts of those were not available. On our last night we waited 90 minutes between order placement and food delivery. We were also asked for 700 rupees if we wanted the fire lit - never been asked this in any hotel or haveli we have stayed in before.

the quaintness, the staff - Mr. Shubhendu, Vikram, Sanjeev, Maneesh all very welcoming and helpful
nothing actually.

The rates were higher as compared to other places in the vicinity. Also the breakfast experience could have been improved by having ready availability to tea/coffee, juices, milk cornflakes, fruits etc

The food was excellent here and alcohol was a reasonable price.
Stunning views if you chose the right room, comfortable bed.
Almost adjacent to the Norbulinka Institute and a few little shops close by should you fancy a wander.
We preferred this part of Daramshala rather than the super busy MCleod Ganj
Not much, my husband adored the walkers/ climbers vibe of this small hotel.
One day we took our room key out with us and the bed hadn't been made up when we returned.

The Divine Hima was delightful. Very different and quite quirky. Sanjay and the staff were great. The food at the restaurant was varied and tasty. As there are no restaurants near there, this offered a great option. We felt very much at home.
Not a major problem, but the property is quite a walk from anywhere (apart from The Norbulinka Institute). We were happy to get a taxi to take us out sightseeing, so would suggest that as an option. We liked the fact that it was a but out of the way

A very comfortable place with a personal touch of the owner. The place is full of interesting, captivating and unusual artefacts. One can spend a lot of time exploring the different corners of the property. Talking of food, the menu was rather limited, but just right. Definitely worth trying.
I found the tariff a bit on the higher side.

The breakfast options were great. We tried four different options and all are were terrific.
Pillows. Would have liked a little sturdier pillows.

Great place to stay in dharamshala with exception food options.
We had local himachali food to continental, cooked exceptionally well
maybe they are under staffed so at times some requests take longer.

Sanjay has poured his soul into The Divine Hima - his collection of stones (former geologist), his photographs and lots of other small collectibles. Lobby is very aesthetically done, as are the rooms - very beautifuuly done up. Some balconies are obviously bigger than the others but thats in keeping with the rooms which too are all different with their own names and character.. The food is delicious - tried various himachali dishes and wood fired pizzas- everything was just delicious. The check-in and check-out experience was very comfortable and efficient. There are literally more than a 100 types pickle which you would love to try. The location is in sidhpur off dharamshala-palampur road, literally a 100 meters away from the norbulinka insititute.
Beautiful bird songs to wake up to every morning - this place is a jewel and i will definately be back for more.
Tublights in otherwise beautifully appointed rooms are a bad idea especially when they share common wiring with focus lights that have been put up to light up the artwork frames. The bed mattresses were on the softer side but comfortable nonetheless. My personal preference is for something that offers a bit more back support.

IT IS A SMALL ABODE OF PEACE & TRANQUILITY WITH A VERY COMMITTED OWNER TRYING TO RAISE THE BAR OF A SMALL HOTEL AND MAKE THEM BE AT PAR WITH THE BEST IN THE AREA.
SANJAY, THE OWNER IS AN AMAZING KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON AND WAS MORE THAN A FRIEND TO US IN MANY WAYS. ALSO THE STAFF IS QUITE COMMITTED AND SINCERE
NOT MUCH TO COMPLAINS. IF YOU ARE NOT SEEKING FIVE STAR COMFORTS BUT AFFORDABLE PRIME LUXURY WITH SCENIC MINDFUL BEAUTY, THEN THIS PLACE TICKS ALL BOXES

The staff was excellent, always ready to serve at a moment's notice, with smiling faces. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast menu was limited, but extremely tasty every day.
Nothing as such. The price could be slightly on the lower side, I guess.

Divine Hima was the perfect choice! We had an amazing restful, peaceful stay at this boutique resort in the beautiful and serene Dharamshala. Sanjay and his wife Pooja were super hosts and ensured we were taken care of...be it the food, hospitality or the sight seeing. Sanjay's staff too were absolutely super courteous ensuring we never had a problem during our stay.
The location of this resort and the views are just jaw dropping! We will definitely visit again and recommend this place to everyone!
PS: Food was amazing, but pls do try the Kangri dham on their menu.

This property is a boutique hotel with limited rooms but the host is just excellent. Located little inside but completely aloof from the hush and rush. Homely atmosphere.
Nothing really.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the view from the balcony amazing. The staff was always helpful and kind. Also the car parking was solved on a smooth way. The food was always tasty and portions were accurate. If we are coming back to this area, we would again accomodate here.

We had booked 3 rooms for a big family stay for 3 nights. Sanjay was an excellent host. He gave good advice regarding our day visits into Dharamsala and McLeodganj. The staff was super polite and service during mealtimes was very personalised. Breakfast (included in tariff) had many choices. Dinner was a la carte and ranged from Himachali to Tibetan to European. Rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable.

A beautiful property, tucked away amongst luscious greenery and a breathtaking view of the Dhauladhar range. Cosy interior for rainy evenings with unique artwork, a comfortable lounge and library. Sanjay and his team went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit and made fantastic recommendations. A very diverse food menu, the best in Dharamshala...the local Thali and Tibetan momos are a must try! Will definitely be visiting again.

It was a pleasure to stay at The Divine Hima--Excellent Food, Excellent Stay Facility--cozy and pretty...almost quaint...loved the vibe of the place! The hot water was available in the shower 24/7. We loved the ambiance and the hospitality. The staff was very prompt and welcoming. of course, Sanjay, the owner took great care to oversee everything personally! Much thanks to Sanjay and the team. Cheers
