I spent my birthday here with absolutely no regrets. The customer service was exceptional, so was the food and entertainment. My room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were great especially the fit club. Hunter restaurant is a favorite of mine. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating with the tight booking and the food was great. I visited Elements for breakfast and yes, the food choices deserve 5 stars- healthy options as well as local cuisine along with the usual American styles. Options were not short at this resort. One waitress, Alliyah, went beyond to know and call me by name and that made the experience even better. Shout out to the front desk staff, her name escapes me, but she was so friendly and welcoming. (Aja..?) I must not forget the bar tenders and the amazing cooks at the food truck. Thank you, Royalton Chic. I generally like to try new resorts, but I will be back!

A good stay overall with fun activities for adults
Wife and a few got sick from one of the dishes, but hotell is responsive to the incident

The property had false advertisement for the room that I booked. I paid for an ocean view and got a pool view room. After many attempts to get the proper room or refunded for what I paid for an ocean view I was told that they weren’t going to do anything after moving me to a room that was above the pool view room I initially got that. The second room was just a better view of the POOL which is not what I paid hundreds of dollars more for. Horrible customer service for the people at check in

A few of the staff members like Shakida,( best bartender ) MK ( signature hookah) Akeila ( friendliest waitress ) Ranjae,( Diamond pool) Rashown, ( great entertainer) Jun(taxi driver) Salwa ( front desk ) Shereese ( butler ) Ersa( awesome ) we’re exceptional. However, everyone else was not inviting at all. Nobody says good morning unless you initiate the conversation. Nobody asks you if you need anything, it’s like pulling teeth to get your room cleaned or mini bar restocked. The swim out pool on the Diamond club side was a joke. You can’t swim anywhere. There’s beach chairs full of people and 3 feet of water. Very disappointing. This hotel was advertised as being a “new” hotel and it isn’t. It’s very dated in my opinion. You can tell it was a newly renovated hotel. But lacked in appearance. The amount of money we spent to stay here definitely wasn’t worth it at all. I’ve stayed at numerous properties, including Royaltonchic punta Cana and this property was by far the absolute worst. The food was terrible ! I was also asked to pay my bill a day prior to me checking out of the resort because it was over $800. Which by the way I had a card on hold and there was never any mention of a “ cap” or maximum you can spend before you have to payout. I’ve never had this happen to me ever.
Customer service sucks here!Outside of the staff members mentioned above some training needs to be done. I will NEVER return to this resort. Royaltonchic Antigua is horrible !!!DO NOT STAY HERE

I picked this property to share with my best friend for our birthdays. The first night we stayed there our room was robbed and they took almost 700 dollars between the both of us. Let me explain. Upon arrival to our room 1217 i noted that the key fob didn’t work, our refrigerator was warm and the safe didn’t work. Immediately went to the front desk to fix the room key thing and report the other two things. Normally I would have waited for the safe to be fixed but we had a large party of friends there and we left with them to go to Shirley heights. It was there last night there and MY birthday. So we wanted to have fun and go with them. So we didn’t wait. The bus left at 4pm
We changed and left to meet the bus at like 3:50
It’s important to note I didn’t have a need to open my suitcase because all my stuff I needed was in my carry on in case my suitcase didn’t make it.
We left and return to our room looking shook. Upon further investigation we saw that they took money from me and my best friend. The thing is they thought we could come back drunk, or that we would t notice they took money from both of us because they took some not all. We sat there in shock and then call for the manager. We reported the events and time they they occurred. They took our report and asked if we wanted to report it to the police . Yes! So instead of being outside with our friends, we were giving statements into the early morning . No one offered anything to us. There is more! See the comments.

In a year or two this will be a top notch hotel. It’s still new and management is still figuring things out. My only complaints is the extended amount of time it takes to get room service and the fact that they ran out of certain food menu items more than once.

Honestly the resort is beautiful and well maintained with friendly people. The one thing that disappointed me was the promptness of service when calling the front desk for towels etc they were really slow at delivering to the room. We couldn't even get beach towels and no one told us there was a cabana by the pool with towels until we discovered it. When we went to check out the receptionist clipped my bracelet and refused to let me keep it for keepsake. She said I would have to pay $150 to keep it. I was disappointed also with activities on the resort they were minimal. Not much to do at night. They have loud music playing near the coffee shop nightly but there needs to be more entertainment in my opinion.

Please do not recommend this hotel to anyone until they have fixed some of the major issues like the food. We pay lots of money for the food and I was sick the entire weekend and had diarrhea after every meal. It was the only place I ate in my 4 days there and I was sick the entire time. There is something terribly wrong with how the food is being prepared, stored, cooked, and managed there. Others guests i spoke to were also sick from the food and others chose to go to the supermarket to purchase food so as not to eat at the hotel. There was not one night that the restaurants were crowded or that I had to wait to be seated. With over 400 at the hotel, all of the restaurants were empty every night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE unless you can just enjoy the property and eat elsewhere.

This hotel is fairly new; they have ALOT. Of things to work on before they can even be considered as a 5 star property.

It’s something small but they need a shelf in the shower to hold your body wash the only place to put it is on the back of the toilet.

Reluctantly gave this resort a 1-star rating because the survey wouldn't allow a 0. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had, from Day 1 to Day 6.
**Check-In:** Upon arrival, even though I had fully paid for the room and arrived early, I was informed that my room wasn't ready. While I understood the need to wait, I was disappointed when I couldn’t get my room number to access the Wi-Fi, despite having already paid in full.
**Event Hosting:** My cousin celebrated her 40th birthday here, bringing 24 guests. The food provided was cold and disgusting. Example, Mediterranean restaurant lost our reservation, took 2 hours to bring out our main dishes, then when they came our food was cold and we were served cajun potato wedges as our potato sides…in a Mediterranean restaurant. Although it was Antigua Carnival, the resort was less crowded than usual, so it was surprising that essentials like rum and glasses were in short supply.
**Staff and Service:** While the staff were friendly, they seemed disengaged and often blurred the lines between personal interaction and professionalism. Instead of providing efficient service, they were more interested in socializing and were often bothered when we asked to be serviced. At my cousins birthday dinner, the staff was more focused on partying with us than serving us.
**Housekeeping Issues:** Towels were scarce, and housekeeping frequently ignored our "Do Not Disturb/Clean" signs, entering our rooms un

The convenience was a plus as well as the food selection. I would have liked for some type of shelving for my bath supplies but I would say that was the only negative
3.0
The Resort was clean. The food options were limited. Need more variety with food. Staff was not attentive. For example- the staff at dinning and on the beach doesn't come around and ask if you need another drink. They are quick to come pick up your plate. Entertainment at evening shows was not good. Resort was boring.

It's a new hotel so little things are missing but it was a good place to stay.
Room service took 2 hours to bring my food, but it eventually came.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The bar and restaurant staff were very very kind. The resort was clean. The hospitality staff were amazing! Tavia was such a pleasure and super resourceful. The entertainment staff were also very very pleasant and made sure everyone had a good time.
My only complaints are that it was very hard to get in contact with the front desk during the night. Also, after I booked my trip, I received several text messages from Royalton about my upcoming trip and to remind me that airport transfer to and from the hotel was included. When I landed at the hotel, the Nexus representative did not have my name and told me to talk with the hotel. I paid for a taxi and asked the hotel about my transfer and showed them the text message and the receptionist instructed me to contact Expedia. That was disappointing since the text messages were from Royalton.
Overall, my stay was great, but the property is working out kinks.

Well it was a new resort so they ran out of a lot of things like bottled water and certain foods it was a unique experience

Service took very long (both restaurants and services) felt like some employees did not want to be there or to work. Limited everything was at the restaurant.

I initially was super excited for my stay at Royalton Chic Antigua. The beautiful resort and great reviews I saw prior to July had me eagerly anticipating a wonderful vacation. The resort itself is stunning, with well-maintained grounds, luxurious amenities, and a picture-perfect beachfront setting. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the incredible staff.Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several significant issues that detracted from what could have been a perfect vacation. Firstly, I spent the first two days of my trip sick from food poisoning, which was a major setback and certainly not what I had hoped for.
The resort frequently ran out of food and top-shelf alcohol. On multiple occasions, popular dishes and beverages were unavailable, leaving guests with limited options. The long wait times for room service and at the resort's restaurants were another major inconvenience. Many guests, including myself, found ourselves having to leave the resort to find food elsewhere due to these delays. It was disheartening to see that the resort was unable to meet the dining needs of its guests in a timely manner. The on-site transportation was incredibly expensive, and the resort did not allow outside cab drivers to pick up guests, which left me feeling trapped.

The staff are the best… friendly, caring, respectful and just tremendous! The resort is lovely however Expedia book me at the wrong Royalton I was to be with a group of friends at the other Royalton so I’m very upset that I missed all the events my friends planned.
Overall, the trip was lovely!

Property felt safe and the room staff were excellent.
The reception staff needed work - they didn’t know how to handle any situation. Which was ridiculous.
Salina the assistant manager was professional and nice.
Reception needs training on services and offered and how to handle a disgruntled client.
First I didn’t get the room I booked and I was told I was given an upgrade - the upgrade ac wasn’t working and I had to be moved to a next room (Salina. Managed that ) . When I told them I couldn’t watch movies o was told my room was upgraded but I’m still a standard guest . No one wants to hear they are a standard guest when they pay so much money !!! Made it feel like wasn’t with the price !!!!

nice and clean facilities, but very long wait time to check in, untrained staff, it took a waitress several attempts to get lunch order in an empty cafe. when on the beach don't expect to be served even from the nearest bar, no security guards at the beach front, loud music at the pool during the day time, could hear it even few buildings behind it, and at night live music playing very loud

I would like to give this property more stars but there were too many problems. My biggest gripe is the price I paid to be there and was restricted in the places I could dine at. My other issue was the fact they tried to upgrade my room but it really was a downgrade. I paid for ocean view and was given a garden view room and told that I could dine at "diamond club" restaurants despite the fact that I was given a regular resort band. The only thing that save this resort from getting two stars is the staff! Most of them were really nice and always spoke. I do understand that the resort just opened and that there will be some growing pains but I just wish I had a better experience considering how I had to fight for almost three hours to get into my room.

We had an amazing mother daughter trip at the Royalton Chic Antigua at the end of May. WOW! What a place. The staff are all incredibly friendly and we were impressed by the caliber of the resort considering that it opened just a few weeks ago. There were plenty of restaurant options and we were happy with the food. The VIBE team, Bartenders and CHIC dancers were so talented and SO MUCH FUN! The foam pool party Saturday afternoon was epic! Everyone from the front desk staff to the bell boys, room attendants and maintenance workers were so kind. A special shout out to ELVIS, our personal trainer and water aerobics instructor, who inspired us to exercise daily and have a heck of a lot of fun while doing so. He is amazing and the gym equipment is top notch. This was one of the highlights of our stay. Keep up the good work everyone!
2.5
When we arrived, the hotel was less than two weeks old so everything was new new new! Which I absolutely loved. The downside is they didn’t tell us the hotel would only be at 30% capacity to train the team so the ‘party’ Element was definitely lacking. Also the team were quite untrained at the time with bar staff no knowing what Prosecco is or just the basic cocktails from their own menu. The entertainment staff were UNREALL!! So good and so full of energy throughout! We had the butler service but what this was for, I’m still not sure
