We enjoyed our stay. Property was a little dated but not dirty. Very beautiful and rustic building and outdoor areas. Construction happening behind unit, but it wasnt loud. We saw a Bear in the parking lot, we thought that was pretty cool. Would stay here again.

I didn't like that you had to go to a different hotel to check in. It should tell you that in the description. It is very out of date. The only thing updated is the bathroom.

First thing, gosh couldn’t find it. Road under construction and post it signs telling us where to go. Then sign in the door saying go back down the street to some motel to check in. Parking lot was muddy and cramped. Room was very old but very clean. I never met any staff or seen anyone that could have even cleaned. The pics of this place are very deceiving. Not worth 150 a night. Far walk to parkway and steep hills.

We had a girls weekend. Room 214 is great if you have 3 or 4 people. Very big room with balcony and a grassy area overlooking the pool.

Staff was friendly but preoccupied. Unusual hotel but clean. Was able to walk everywhere, decent hill coming back to hotel when on foot.

This property was absolutely disgusting and the pictures posted look nothing like the actual property. There was mold everywhere, dead gnats on the counter, hairballs on the floor, and a layer of dust on everything. Upon notifying the management of the state of the room they did nothing to correct the situation. I informed them that I would not be staying at their facility and requested a refund, which they denied. I informed them that I had pictures of the state of our room and would be reaching out to Expedia for my refund which didn’t seem to phase them. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and do not book a room at The Chalet Inn

The pictures listed are from 1972. The property is disgusting. I took several pictures of this room. There was brown goop on the walls, stains, holes, cracks, mold, and rotted wood in my room (204). I paid 330 a night for a romantic getaway and got a nightmare!

This room is very awkward and as a vacation rental owner, I would never rent something like that out. They did try to revamp bathroom, but still not good. Couldnt fine check in office. We came in at night and there were no signs lite up or anything. Had to ask another couple stayi g where to go! They said they had same problem. Wouldnt recommend this place.

Very outdated. Awkward accommodations/room layout. No office. Upon arrival there was a sign on the door to check in at another hotel down the hill. Exterior door into the building unlocked day and night. Large stains on curtains. Mildew in bathroom and around jacuzzi tub. Will not reserve again.

We stayed in the Panoramic Double room. It was clean and spacious. The balcony views were amazing. It is an older property, but has a lot of character. Beds were comfortable. Close to downtown and to the national park. Will be back in the spring, and will be choosing this hotel again.
