Booked one night mid week with my kids as we passed through BC. Booked specifically for the budget, pool & hot tub.
Pool was an ice bath and hot tub was broken. "Pool towels" were hand towels.
Beds were terribly uncomfortable.
Room was non smoking, however smelled like it had been a smoking room for the past 40 years. Bathroom fan rattled so bad we thought it was going to fall out.
Road noise from the highway is terrible.
Ceiling creaks bad from movement in the rooms above.
Breakfast was mediocre at best. Denny's food is probably a better choice for your money.
Staff was friendly, but you have to ask the questions. They dont exactly elaborate on the details of the hotel.
My advice - go cheaper or go a little more expensive.... just re think this place.

Tried to charge us an extra 50 dollars for two adults even though the price was the same on Expedia for 1 or 2 adults.
Very strong accents so communication was difficult.
The hot tub was not working but they didn’t tell us that until we asked.

We have stayed many nights at the Heritage Inn on our way back home from Vancouver Island. The rate for an overnight stay is very economical with a Breakfast included. Our stay was comfortable and quiet. I was a little disappointed there was no shampoo in the washroom. The service in the restaurant, front desk and lounge were great.

When my husband asked for a glass of milk was told it would be $3.75. Cereals were aimed mainly for younger children and bowls were very small. Ver loud air conditioner , had a hard time sleeping,
The energy saving function was even worse than having the air conditioner it kept turning on every minute, it was too hot to sleep with it off

Was able to let us check in an hour early and able to enjoy full pool to ourselves.
Wifi info wasn't offered at check in, not very friendly. But got the stuff done quick and easy.

The staff were friendly, no problem there. The facilities were clean but a definately need some updating. Worn carpets and design. The pool was over clorinated. No elevator, so not great for anyone with any type of mobility challenges. The breakfast was better than expected. Not elaborate, but okay.

The hotel itself was nice. Staff was nice. We were disappointed that the lounge was not open that day. After a long day of travelling we were looking forward to eating in the hotel. Decided to have a soft drink and the vending machine was broken. But the rooms were clean and comfy.

Our room was clean . The shower curtain rod was falling off and appeared to be held up by silicone.
