How they have it set up is terrible your room is a block away from the front desk and you have to drive or walk depending on how the weather is for breakfast so I decided to book another day no biggie so I decided to check my bank account and the lady at the front desk charged me twice not only that she charged me twice when I checked out I checked my account again and she charged my card a third time I will not be returning to this hotel ever again hadn't I checked my account she would've gotten away with it

We arrived early in the morning for our stay. We were greeted both pleasantly and professionally by Andre. He gave us all the information for our stay. When I needed it repeated, he did so while being both patient and polite, giving us a good feeling right at the start. We enjoyed our clean, quiet, and comfortable room and ended our stay with a well made and tasty breakfast. All of our interactions with staff made us feel like welcomed guests!!!👍❤️

Elevator didn’t work so we had to walk down the giant hill to eat and back up the hill to get to our room! Doors on the room didn’t work properly either. The place needs updating bad!!

Comfortable place to rest after a long day in gatlinburg. Door handle was not secured to the door and you had to open the door in a specific way. Toilet would either not flush or flush and then took FOREVER to fill back up. Other than that, great location and nice hotel.

We checked in which was easy however we got to our room, tiredfrom the drive, found out the tv did not work on iver half the channels so went we went for breakfast the following mirning we told the front desk, he said that he would have someone fix it that day, we got back that night and no one had fixed the issue. So again the next mirning we went back down to the office and told the front desk again and again he said that he would let maintenance kniw we also at that time told him about the light above the mirror flickering and he said he again would let maintenance know again we come back that evening and you guessed it nothing was done. We did not go back down the following mirning we figured ut was not going to get fixed that they would again give us the same song and dance so upon checking out we told a different front desk attendant and he did not see the paper that the other front desk wrote everything down on. We also let them know at this time about the shower head constantly dripping and the sink faucet not turning off unless you found the sweet spot. We did not mention the soiled lamp shades because at this point i was already annoyed that things were not repaired while we were there and just felt it was no big deal. Would not let me add photos or the video of the tv not working properly or the video of the light flickering...

I don’t usually write reviews, but my stay at this hotel was so bad that I feel compelled to warn others.
The conditions were disgusting from the moment I walked in. The carpet was filthy, stained, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The fireplace was broken and looked like it hadn’t worked in ages. The bathroom was no better – the shower was dirty, with soap scum and grime all over, and the mirror was smeared with fingerprints. To make matters worse, there were bugs crawling around in the room.
On top of all that, the room had a horrible smell, like a mix of mustiness and something else foul.
I couldn’t even bear to stay there. I ended up leaving and finding another hotel nearby, as I couldn’t see any reason to stick around in such a terrible place. They refused to give me a refund, which just made the whole experience worse.
I strongly advise anyone thinking of booking here to stay away. It’s not worth the risk, no matter how cheap it seems. Look elsewhere!

Rooms were nice. They do need to be worked on. Toilet was loose. One of the light switches did not work. The door was rotten ion the bottom which did not let it close properly. It needed some repair work to the wall under the sink.

Having bears roam freely on the grounds made the stay enjoyable! The rooms were okay, nothing to write home about. No hair dryer or usb plug ins. No tub shelves and the shower curtain was too short.

It was ok, I didn’t get the room I had booked online. I was supposed to get a king bed with a soaker tub in room, but when I checked in, was told because we had dogs we couldn’t have that room. It shouldn’t be available online if it wasn’t an option. I selected pet friendly hotel! Also was charged more than it said online for pets…. $25 a day for each pet is expensive, and was not informed of this until the day of check in by email. So it was too late to get a refund for the stay! Online it said $10 extra for pets!!! Why the big charge if you don’t want pets there just advertise it that way. I understand some dogs make messes… maybe inspect the room upon check out and price accordingly!!! Oh wait that would mean they had to work, sorry. We won’t stay there again! Also pets don’t like linoleum floors!

Booked two rooms for my family, they had the better of the two rooms. Smahed bug on ceiling, head boards dust and visible hand prints from previous gueats. Mini fridge rusted, carpet not vacuumed. Ac united needed cleaned out smell came out of it with ac or heat.

Jazzuci didnt work, no hot water, fireplace didnt work. Employees didn't care. We asked to move rooms and told no. Mold growing in rooms. Not clean. Tiles and flooring falling apart.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating. We've stayed here many times and its one of the best in Gatlinburg. We love watching the bears from the rooms on the hill. Right downtown easy to get to anything inside Gatlinburg.

This hotel was in an extremely convenient location to the park. It was very outdated & could use updates to the bed, carpet, bathroom. Everything worked but very old. We also did not like the fact that the hotel was spread out over several buildings. We had to walk up/down a giant hill and walk a half block to the lobby/breakfast area.

We booked at the last minute. They had a room with a king bed available. We had another hotel booked but further away from our destination, so we looked this hotel up within the hour that we needed a room. They had one. Very friendly. Nice room.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! We checked in around 5:30pm and the first room we went into the beds were completely untouched from the previous guests. I understand that for the price and location it won't be the most updated place, but you can at least change the sheets before we arrive! The pictures on the web do not do justice at all!!! The building literally looked like it was falling apart, and the bathrooms were so dirty it's like they don't clean at all. We asked to get a room change and they gave us another room that the beds were made but the bathroom and everything else you could tell were still very dirty. The doorknob was loose, I was so afraid someone was going to be able to break in. They included "free breakfast" we decided not to eat there since the whole thing was disgusting. We weren't the only ones with this issue they were another family that seemed to have the same issue I saw them go in one room right after we arrived and switched to the other building in front a couple of minutes later. Here are the pictures of the room we walked into. Didn't even get a discount or refund at all just an "oh I'm sorry about that". We paid over $350 ONE night Thursday-Friday October 10-11. No holidays or weekend stay. (we paid extra because we had two small yorkies) And they told us they couldn't give us a better room then that because of the animals. Our stay was just fine. The hotel is older,but in a wonderful location. It would be crazy to complain, because of the price. We enjoyed having a jacuzzi in our room. That turned out to be a bonus,and they are pet friendly. The staff were the best part. They were all helpful and happy to help with anything.
