The Magnolia was amazing when we stayed for our anniversary. The room was absolutely lovely, with excellent housekeeping and amenities. The staff were lovely every time we interacted with them, and helped us celebrate a bit. The hotel is very convenient to all of the downtown shops, restaurants, inner harbor, transportation, etc. We had a car for two days and never had trouble parking near the hotel. The area is safe and quiet, even at night.

I was trying to decide between The Magnolia Hotel and The Empress Hotel, and I did choose wisely. The Magnolia Hotel was perfect in every way. Rooms were very clean and furnished with wonderful options. The available snakes were from the local area of Rogers chocolates and toffee popcorn. Reusable Water bottle with the wine glasses. A Nestlé coffee maker plus a selection of coffees to choose from. Robes with slippers in the closet with complementary umbrella I didn’t see till too late. (The day I was leaving.) Then add the gold tier vip to the room and trip from hotels.com It was amazing with an unexpected hotel room upgrade to the second best room and discount to the restaurant “the Courtney Room”. I absolutely loved my stay. I look forward to coming here again in two years.

Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent customer service. Rooms were spotless and bath amenities top notch. Fun bar. Excellent bar tender!

My wife and I stayed at the Magnolia for six nights and it was the absolute best experience. The service was top class and the rooms were excellent. Very impressive and enjoyable. The hotel's location couldn't be better. A short walk to the sea front and to the shopping, bars and restaurants close by.

A lovely boutique-feel hotel in downtown. Our favorite type of hotel. As with any other great operation, it was the staff who made our stay special. Relaxed, friendly, but hyper-professional.

Do note that you aren’t eligible for free continental breakfast if you book through a “third party” app- like Expedia. You aren’t even eligible to purchase the continental breakfast unless you book directly.

I really enjoyed everything about this property except the view from the room. We had to keep our sheer curtains closed the entire time because our windows looked across the street right into the windows of another hotel. In the future, I will choose hotels with better views.
