Charming little hotel right on Saratoga Lake. Format is an old-style "tavern on the bottom, small rooms above" configuration. The room was snug and outfitted in a clean, updated Colonial fashion. Didn't give 5 stars for service, not because it was bad, but it was essentially self-check and stay. Lovely to wake up to the lake outside our window.
A couple of caveats that might affect your choice. The rooms are small (at least ours was), so don't plan on spreading your stuff out. If you can't navigate stairs alone or with luggage, ask for a room downstairs. Our room was right over the restaurant/tavern, which stays fairly busy (and noisy) until about 10 PM. We weren't bothered by it, but you might want to check ahead if you turn in early.
We'd stay there again without hesitation if our travels take us to that part of the country again.

The property was cozy and quaint - exactly what you would want with a romantic or relaxation gettaway from the big hotel chains. The restaurant had exceptional live music, interesting and friendly locals and great food and drink. The room was exceptionally well maintained and clean. Check in and out was easy. Have raved about it to our friends and we’ll stay again!

Great position and room. 4 comments: chain lock on door reversed so ineffective; center ceiling light not working; i tissue in Kleenex box; bedside table too small for CPAP machine and the clock. See photos.

Great find, attended a concert at SPAC, about 15 minutes way, ate lunch in the restaurant overlooking the lake, good food, friendly service, would definitely stay there again.

Great little hotel connected to a great restaurant. I saw other complaints about noise but we stayed on the first floor and didn’t experience that - the restaurant closed at 10 on the Saturday night of our stay (maybe it’s more rowdy in the heart of summer). The themed rooms are a great touch and for a contactless experience, we had no issues. We will definitely return!

I just needed a place to stay for one night at a reasonable price. The Nest at Saratoga Lake more than met my needs.
The view of the lake from my room was beautiful.

Lovely setting, everything in the room was tasteful and the bed was very comfortable. Internet worked! I arrived late so did not have time to enjoy sitting outside. TV was in room, turned it on, but so many channels not available; anyway that did not matter. I look forward to staying again. Thank you

As it was only a seven unit lodging, they made you feel like kings and queens. Everything was catered to you like when you walked in the restaurant because we were staying there they got us a table immediately. It was so awesome and Matt our waiter was so delightful and pleasant. We even had a band playing in the tent next door and we enjoyed listening to it and did not hear it when we were in our room like a lot of the reviews complained about. Our GPS took us to a Veterinary Hospital. So the next time we put the name and the address and it took us right there. I would like to see it in the summer months. I'm sure it is bustling then

All rooms are over bar. Very loud music played until almost 10:30pm. Wifi too weak for streaming. No access to bottled water. Shower never got hot. Dripped all night. Security questionable. Open access from bar to rooms.

Close by to Saratoga race course, the concerts available both evenings we stayed were a nice surprise. Food at Docks Brown was good and convenient. Staff very nice and helpful.

I was looking for convenience and didn't realize this was right on the lake. It was wonderful to have such a perfect spot with a beach and a band in the evening. The food at the restaurant was pretty good although service was very slow. The room was nice and I slept great but something rolled under the bed and I came out looking like a dust bunny. I would definitely come back here again though. It's a cute, comfortable and convenient place. I would definitely recommend.

There were 5 rooms at the Nest but only 3 parking spaces. Had to park on the grass. Room was part of the Tavern just a corridor separated room from tavern. Incredibly crowded and noisy. I refused to stay there so I left.
