The staff act so formal and robotic. No personal and human interaction. Just greet you but are not warm. Also the continental breakfast was a choice of 3 croissants and a small fruit salad for $55. Total rip off!

Very unique and exceptional experience to stay in this lovely hotel. It’s amazing paintings around each corner of this hotel. Especially I would like to thank Chloe and Raphael in restaurant who introduced us to test great and authentic French cuisine. This is a lifetime trip we never forget.

This has got to be the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides being beyond beautiful, the staff is simply exceptional. I love that they have chosen to update the hotel by keeping the traditional style with just the right modern and tasteful touches. Outstanding in every way.

We stayed on the newly renovated 5 th floor. Room 517
There was No chandelier in the room.
Also, the drapes did not completely close to block out the early morning sun. They were not on the track either on the ends. So they didn’t close. Seems they are possibly too small
For the windows. Other than that it was beautiful! Thank you! Gorgeous hotel. Great service.

Nice hotel and great area but charges are definitely unreasonable, 100 Euro per day for service (mandatory), 100 Euro per day for extra bed for my child (while I booked the room for 3 people and never experienced such), super expensive room service and breakfast, never paid as much for hotels fee while the rate are already among most expensive in Paris!!

The General Manager of Le Meurice, Franka Holtmann tends to ever detail for your comfort. The beds are the most comfortable, the hotel is gorgeous and service is perfection. The staff is truly engaged in the experience of the guests down to the bell captain who remembered me from my stay the previous week before a trip to Morocco, which he remembered and asked me about while helping take my luggage downstairs. That’s hard to train. You need to hire remarkable people for that result and Ms. Holtmann seems to have accomplished that beautifully! Thank you!!

We arrived early and we are thankful that the hotel provided an early check in. After a long flight from the US this was highly appreciated. The complaints regarding the room and service to the room are as follows; Upon check in the A/C was not working. They did correct this the following day however this is something that provided a difficult nights rest and at theses prices is not acceptable. We were given a King room, we had upgraded to a premier king room however the bed was two full size beds pushed together. The hide this well but there was a seam in the middle of the beds which was uncomfortable. This in my mind is very bizarre that a hotel of this class and high standards would push two beds together to make a King.
The bathroom was a very nice size with a tub and shower. I prefer showers and do not utilize tubs that often. The shower door did not close all the way therefore there was leaking into the bathroom every time we took a shower. We were both careful to turn the shower head closer to the inside to avoid the water spilling but very difficult and again it something that you would consider you would have to deal with at over $1400 per night. We notified the front desk and nothing was don’t to fix the problem. They did not offer to move us to another room etc. we noticed that this must be a chronic problem because their were rust stains around the edges of some of the floor and around the toilet.

Not cheap but you get the quality you are paying from from the check in to the immaculate beautiful rooms.
Great music at the bar in the evenings and very French great quality breakfast both with impeccable service

The front desk staff were lovely and the concierge extremely helpful in making restaurant reservations.
The housekeeping staff were the best I've ever experienced... responsive, efficient and thorough.
I also loved the authentic classical feel combined with the modern technology.
Make sure to have a drink at Bar 228 if you stay.
Overall, I was very impressed and would recommend this hotel to anyone i thought was willing to spend.

Absolutely charming, nearly 200-year-old but recently refurbished hotel across the street from the Louvre's front gardens. Had a sixth-floor room with a gorgeous view of the Eifel Tower, with the Arc de Triomphe to one side and Notre Dame cathedral to the other. Personal touches were included, with balloons in the room commemorating a birthday. Bathroom was lovely and spacious with plenty of steaming hot water for the tub. I was surprised that they charged room service delivery with all the restaurants closed and a 6pm curfew in force, and also raised an eyebrow at a letter from the manager left behind suggesting we try the spa or one of the restaurants, all closed for months now. The bed was large but entirely too soft; you were in danger of rolling off the edges. But overall the services provided were top-notch, with friendly staff willing to help out in English when we stumbled in French.
