Really not enjoyed, it was never informed renovation going on in tg8s hotel. If it was known never booked. Paid a hefty amount much higher than hotels in down town. Never expected and disappointing.

Beautiful hotel and views, good food, breakfast and very nice bar. Staff very friendly efficient and helpful. Enjoyed the evening boat ride and pool is amazing, you can see river dolphins sometimes.
Small point of feedback is in relation to maintenance and attention to detail. Cupboard doors were not closing properly, there was a sticker on the toilet seat, soap dispenser in lounge toilet was dirty. But no major issues, we had a wonderful time

I had 2 rooms booked for a family of 5. I was given 1 in the heritage wing and 1 in the tower wing. What I did not like is that this hotel needs a revamp. Everything looks old . The bathrooms are not clean as expected . The maintenance department has to improve. I had a light flickering . Telephone not working . Its a popular wedding venue so expect crowds . Pool has no privacy with laborers lounging around . I feel this hotel shoukd be rated 4 star

This is an excellent hotel with stunning views of Arabian sea. If you want to enjoy the Kerala monsoon, this is the best location. The staffs are super friendly. The hotel is very neat and clean and food was excellent. Overall an excellent hotel to spend a family vacation.
