Amazing hotel near beach and many shops. Quiet even in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Staff was above excellent. A bit noisy between 7pm and 10 pm due to festivities. Breakfast is absolutely amazing with so much options. I highly recommend

For our last night in Bali we decided to book in a good hotel to relax and enjoy our last day and last night. The Ramayana Hotel was as enchanting as we could dream off. From the lobby, to the swimming pool, to the gym and the room, everything was clean and beautiful. The pool is surrounded by tiare trees, it's beautiful, the water is good and we can enjoy the bar. We relax into the water and then have a meal at the Gabah restaurant (which is where you can take breakfast). The lunch menu is very large for all tastes and cultures. The breakfast was amazing too. I couldn’t try everything but my eyes loved what they saw !
We had a very good night sleep, the pillows were just little clouds for our heads. The personal is helpful whenever the time of the day or the night. At 4am I asked the receptionist for bottle of water and had it in my room instantly.
I recommend 100% this hotel were you can also enjoy massages and theme diner at the restaurant.

This was our first stay at the Ramayana. We had a huge room (50 sqm) which was laid out well. One issue we had was the hallway light shining into our room at night through a floor to ceiling narrow window so we couldnt make the room completely dark. The buffet breakfast had so many choices and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool was stunning and the gardens were beautiful too. We would recommend this resort 🙂

Ramayana was recommended to me . I’ve never been to Bali and I’m primarily in the country to attend my son’s wedding in Canggu.
I was very disappointed with Ramayana for these reasons:
1. Very strong incense odor throughout the hallway leading into my room. At times , it made me nauseous.
2. Very noticeable musty odor in the bathroom. No proper ventilation in there .
3. Second AC unit in room also had musty odor similar to bathroom. Had to shut that one off, I thought. There might be mold issue going on.
4. Shower stall looks it has mold.
5. I booked 2 rooms for 3 people, my husband , my son and myself. I was given 2 family rooms each with 1 king bed and 2 other full size beds. I don’t think I would book that type of room, but they said I did. No effort was made to change the accommodations.
The staff are very nice and willing to help, but language is an issue. Most have very limited understanding and weren’t really able to help nor tried to find someone who could help.
