Excellent option to stay in Cuenca. Right in the center of the city you can walk everywhere. It also has a parking lot. Very nice boutique hotel, very clean and well decorated.

Comfortable old hotel with excellent staff, in a very convenient location. Restaurant meal I had was good.
Breakfast buffet was average and most mornings the hot food was at best warm. Leaked sufficient staff at breakfast

Absolutely amazing experience staying at this property. Is a beautiful colonial building with a cozy courtyard a block away from Plaza Calderón. The hosts were super friendly. They arranged a taxi back to the airport early morning on departure day, gave us complimentary drinks on arrival and promptly took care of any requests we had. The room was a very convenient 2-story unit with a balcony facing the cobblestoned Presidente Borrero street. Breakfast was simple but very good and fresh. Location is amazing. You are within walking distance of most major attractions, restaurants, shops, rooftop bars, beautiful cathedrals and charming plazas. I recommend this hotel 100%.

While we were checking out they tried to charge me for alcohol I had taken back to the front desk the night before (as my family member can't have alcohol), it was cleared up but the lack of communication is obvious.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The property is unique, very well maintained, and in an excellent location. Breakfast was the best we had in our travels in Ecuador. Staff was super professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!

Second time staying here. Amazing place to stay if you love the antique looks. Restaurant in hotel amazing as well. Cuena is a must if you're visiting Ecuador.

Great stay for history or architecture buffs. We stayed in room with 2 levels. Bed was wonderful. Bathroom was modern. The floors creaked a bit much but it is an older building. Restaurant was nice. Staff was great but food was just ok.
