Wow, great place to stay, central to Everything!!! Very kind & helpful staff!! Bring your walling shoe’s & appetite!! So much to see & do in charming Lisboa & this is a wonderful hotel to base your adventure from. Trams, buses, boats all close by!! Grocery store across the street next to elevator!! Very clean comfortable rooms. Lots of night life, but very quiet with window closed. Castelo Sao Jorge 10min ( if u take elevator) 15 if u opt for stairs!! Very good breakfast & little bar open in evening! There are a-lot of stairs but they have a lift to help with your bags!

This is an excellent hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very nicely located between the Baixa and Alfama neighborhoods and is very close to some excellent restaurants. We had a great time here.

Very enjoyable stay while in Lisbon. Great view of the city. Within walking distance of many restaurants and the castle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Excellent Sangrias at the bar

The standard room is pretty tiny, but the location is very convenient to restaurants, transportation and sights.
We were very grateful we were allowed an early check-in at noon after a morning arrival from a long flight from the US. The hotel has an eclectic and somewhat awkward design with a step up at the entrance to the lobby bar then another step up to the reception area, then 4 steps up to the tiny elevator. This can be quite uncomfortable if you have any mobility issues or if trying to maneuver multiple suitcases, which we had since this hotel stay was prior to our departure on a 3 week cruise. This hotel (or at least the standard room) is more suitable for someone traveling light and not intending to spend much time in the room.

Great location near lots of sight seeing and restaurants. Furniture in the room was a little funky as there were no drawers to put things in and bathroom sink space was very limited. The bar and patio areas were great.

I just thought a little more storage space (shelves, in the bathroom especially) would help for things to sort out, as the room was not so large to leave two large suitcase open. Staff is attentive, friendly, responsive and very helpful. Especially Magda and breakfast room staff. Breakfast is excellent and served daily until 11am. Stayed there 6 nights and we were very happy.

We had an amazing experience at the Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are well appointed with views and balconies. The location is ideal as we walked to many cultural sites and museums. The dining options within walking distance were delicious and multiple.

This was my first trip to Portugal and I came for the Rock climbing. My stay at the Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge was excellent. Checked in was easy, the Hotel arranged my transfer from the airport, the ladies at breakfast every morning took good care of me. The room was excellent with a nice balcony, good air conditioning and a wonderful hot shower. It was exactly what I was looking for for my stay in Lisbon.

Staff was very nice. The only problem was we were promised room refresh during our stay and even through we changed the door sign to please clean it did not happen. We were gone for most of the day. So we had to get new supplies (TP, coffee, water) ourselves after returning from a long hot day. It is in a good location to explore Lisbon with many conveniences close by.

I had an awful experience in my checkin, the person in charge and her manager (in the phone) were not polite! i explained I only had my Amex credit card and the person in charge of checkin was requesting 200 euros in cash for deposit ! i explained i didn’t have the money at that moment. I didn’t experiment kind of hospitality neither kindness, it was very sad to hear that they wouldn’t allow me my entrance even when I did the payment in advance through Expedia. I am gonna say again: people who received were not polite and lacks of hospitality sense. hotel es great, clean and great location, but check in staff is the biggest opportunity for this hotel.
