Overall a wonderful experience. This was a birthday trip and the elegance of the hotel made it so much fun. The COA restaurant downstairs was great, as well!

The staff was great. Room clean but no bath tub. Too many service charges. Food at Coa fair. Breakfast in restaurant tasteless. Price of my room was more expensive then other nearby properties and quality of hotel was not worth the price. I will not stay at this property again nor will I recommend it.

Gorgeous property and extremely kind and helpful staff. They had one pf the most comfortable beds I've had in a hotel room.

The coffee shop downstairs had a lovely outside area overlooking the garden for meeting with colleagues until the room was ready. Restaurant COA was fabulous! Room was very comfortable. Really nice. I guess the current owner bought this property a few years back, and the restaurant is helping this gem make a comeback. Only advice I would give is to update the dark and somewhat stodgy lobby and "Colonial" breakfast/lunch restaurant a bit. The rather loud Frank Sinatra music on a loop could be turned down a bit too

Hotel was very nice. Just had one issue: door to bathroom squeaked. We asked 3 times to have someone come and oil the door, but no one serviced the door.

I made a mistake on the the check in day, by one day, admittedly my fault, but the Drake charged me and did nothing to assist me getting a room there or with another Marriott hotel in the area. I have been a Marriott loyalist for >40 yrs. Hotels.com did not help either so not sure of their "value" in booking a hotel.

The Drake was lovely! The staff were attentive and friendly. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for much more! The Drake is a hidden gem in Oak Brook.

The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are very nice , the bed was comfortable and your staff was amazing. From check in to check out, your staff was fantastic! Kevin, Tina, and Joshua all were friendly, professional and courteous. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
