Location is great. Furniture in the room low quality. Room was very clean. Kitchen area great. Love the fact there are washer and dryer in room. Wish they had a bar and coffee shop in the building.

DO NOT book a room at ROOST! This is advertised as a luxury hotel. It is not at all! Upon checking in, there is nowhere to park to check in and there is no valet. Instead you park around the building and lug your bags across the way to the lobby. To self park and walk with your bags is 30$ here! It’s such a rip off! I pay that much for valet. When getting to the front lobby, it’s locked. No staff comes to help, so I wait to follow someone in with a key. They laugh and stay oops! Sometimes the front door locks on its own. Ok…mind you, my car is in an illegal spot in the street with my husband waiting to move it if asked by anyone needing to get by. Crystal was helping me and was very unhelpful. She told me to use the CC with my husbands name I need to go get him. So we had to go park in their garage, get a ticket, and go back to the lobby together. Crystal then asked where our parking ticket was??? Can I say that this hotel gives no instructions to get in, check in, or parking. This was a hassle. When we got to the room it’s stripped. There’s a bed with sheets and pillows but no chairs, no rug, no pictures, barely counter space. It was weird and small and NOT LUXURY! Omg it’s a crime to say this is luxury! The shared space was loud because the walls are paper thin and you could here all the people conversations, so that was fun. This is not comfortable or luxury. It’s a complete disappointment and I’m letting everyone I can how bad this “hotel” was. Never again.

Gorgeous gorgeous property. supreme location. The Amalie Arena is literally right behind the property. Perfect walking location as well. The studio that i had was perfect. it has everything you need for a stay. Fridge, microwaves dishwaher, laundry. I love it. i’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

It was a great stay. The room looked exactly like it did in the photos and it's perfectly located with lots of restaurants around. The only downside was the strong smell of smoke inside the room. I thought it was a non-smoking room, but it seems like someone had smoked in there.

Everything was fabulous except for the property’s soundproofing. I could hear the TV below my bedroom with crystal clarity and everything in the hallway like it was inside my room. It was a shame because apart from that I’d highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel room was literally like an apartment it had all the kitchen supplies and ac system and washing and drying machine.

Way better than I expected! I had an amazing time. The location was perfect! I really felt at home!

The best option.

I recently stayed at Roost for one night. I had a concert to go to at Amalie Arena. Location: Great location! Close to the airport. Around the corner from the arena. Restaurants on the same block - very walkable. Even a publix at the end of the block. Felt very safe as a single woman. Amenities: I only stayed a few hours really. I had an early flight back. I may go back to stay longer. The 7th floor has a pool, grills, dining area, viewing room, and a fitness room. Decor was fabulous and everything looked well taken care of. Room: Overall I enjoyed my stay. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a trash can in the room. The only one available was the small one in the bathroom. It has a drawer fridge and tv. No Iron. The outdoor patios were great for a small room. Not too much privacy as you can see the rooms next to you but not an issue for me. I made friends with my neighbors. I picked the shared common space. It's basically like an apartment with four rooms in it. Everyone rents a room and shares the kitchen and living area. I would recommend this place and would stay again. Staff was friendly.

Great place with a very chill vibe. My daughter and I stayed here for one night and wish we’d stayed longer. Lots of dining options and cute stores within walking distance.

Roost was great! Attended a convention at Amalie and the location was perfect. Stayed in the 2 bdr/2 Bath apartment. The layout was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for a weekend trip or long extended stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feel like home. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and made my stay enjoyable. ROOST has a beautiful property located in the heart of Tampa and literally across the street from restaurants, Publix, and the trolley. 10/10 will be back.
