The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God.

Loved these cottages…only 6 or so but they are clean, tidy, well appointed and the scenery/solitude can’t be matched. Our first stay but it is a hidden gem.

Overall we had a wonderful experience! It was very quiet which was nice. We enjoyed star gazing and watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

I wanted a quiet stay for our last night in Colorado. I felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but we had easy access to everything we needed. The peace was heaven, the natural beauty was amazing. I absolutely recommend this place, it's wonderful.

Loved this place! We will be back with family! Relaxing and would love to spend a week there! Lots of activities near by. Open space and dark skies! Go to the Observatory in Westcliffe! Fishing, shopping, 4-wheeling.

The property is beautiful and the stargazing was unbelievable. The cottage we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

This property is really adorable and tranquil. Which makes the fact that our "private" cottage was actually a duplex that much more frustrating. If it had been marketed that way, rather than framing the pics and description to suggest it was a single detached cottage, I would have booked something else.
Sadly, two of the "cottages" on the property are actually a single cottage with drywall down the middle. So literally every time the people next door walk on the floor / go to the bathroom / shift in bed, you can hear it. Not so tranquil.

Beautiful grounds! Private cottages, kitchenette Included everything you need! So relaxing to sit by the creek with the beautiful Willow tree branches swaying with the breeze!

We had a great stay at the Hillside Colorado Cottages. The area, property and cottages are beautiful to explore the countryside. Surrounded by the mountains, the views were amazing. The Property Manager lives on side and is there for any needs 24/7. We will definitely return one day!

My husband, pooch and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hillside Cottages. The cottage was nicely furnished and clean. We will definitely return during the summer/fall season to take in more of the beautiful vistas this part of Colorado has to offer.

Beautiful and so accommodating. They really have thought of everything you would need while you’re staying there. The cottage was so clean and fresh! It really was a cute and comfortable place to stay while exploring mountains! Reminded me of Texas Hill Country mixed with Colorful Colorado.

The duplex housing structure titled Nature's Knack was not the quiet and tucked away cabin as advertised. There was an annoying noise of a motor coming from the other side of the common wall that turned on and off every five minutes all night long. The noise was loud enough to keep us up all night. The surrounding area offers breathtaking natural beauty.
