I recently stayed at this hotel for 10 days while waiting for my apartment to be ready. Everything was fine until my last day, when I had to check out. I lost track of time, went to my university&unfortunately forgot to check out. I received an email from the hotel informing me that my luggage was still in the room& that I needed to check out. I immediately called to apologize and said I would come to pick up my things.What happened next was beyond frustrating. The hotel told me they had already booked the room for another guest at a rate of $290, despite me originally paying $85 through the website.They claimed that the rate was higher that day, but they never informed me beforehand. I pleaded to remove the charge since it was an honest mistake,I was more than willing to vacate the room immediately. Their response? A cold, mean "No."When I arrived at the hotel, I found my room locked they refused to open it until I paid the $290. I didn't have a choice so I tried to pay in cash because I'm new to the US & don’t have a bank account yet.To make matters worse, they flat-out refused to accept cash!They only wanted payment via card which left me scrambling to find a place to load money onto a prepaid card. This process was completely unnecessary if they had just shown a bit of flexibility.By the time I finally managed to pay, I was beyond furious. I immediately moved to my apartment altho I have that night reservation.This hotel clearly does not care about its guests .

We've been at this property several times over the years to do kids off on campus. We saw a difference. Room was beaten up... breakfast was mediocre... disappointing

I was traveling out of state moving my daughter to Flirida booked online w expedia. The day of arrival i was called from hotel to say the room i booked was not available due to renovations but I could have,a different toom with q queen bed and pull out sofa, being not from area i ok this change. The room was ok, I did mot see any renovations going on .I know jow this works if yoy book w Expedia they neec to be contacted in regards your reservation. I felt that if tge room they gave me was a different price than what I paid I shoukd be Credited the difference. Expedia didtry to contact but of course the manager was nit available .

One of the elevators were broken, the other one wasnt far behind it. NONE of the phones worked in the place, the ac in the room BARELY kept the room cool enough to sleep, and this place wasnt that old!!!!
