We had several issues: Patio door to balcony (we were on third floor) had no key so could not make it safe for children. Windows had no limiters on them so they swung right out and you could have topped out. Windows could not be pulled shut easily because the handle had nothing to pull onto hence the seal was not tight and rendered the double glazing useless and we could hear all the noise from the restaurants we overlooked below plus the fight that broke out at 2 pm. All the problems listed were on both windows in the flat. Also very crucially, we were not told that the flat has safety issues with the cladding following on from the Grenfell Tower incident report and they now have a permanent fire marshall on standby roaming around the building. This should have been told to us. Also one lift was out and had been for over two weeks. Again nothing was said when we booked. Lastly, the wand on shower hose was split so couldn't use it. It was fixed the same day but the replacement hose they put on was too long and so there was no water pressure so the shower wand still didn't work. We were promised that the manager of City Stay Apartments would ring but they never did despite us calling them twice. We have waited nearly three weeks and no response from them. We would not recommend staying with them. Absolute no regard for the safety of their guests whatsoever and no response from them. It has been appalling customer service and lack of honest information.

We would not recommend this to any traveler, regardless of cost. We paid in advance for three nights to stay in Milton Keynes City Stay Apartments in the HUB. We thought it would be a great location, and opportunity to have the comforts of 'home' while away. Aside from being incredibly hard to locate, when we walked into the apartment, it was stifling hot with no ventilation or air conditioning/fan. The glass door that would open to a minimal patio was broken, and unable to open, preventing us from getting any sort of relief. The floor boards from a torn up carpet, exposed nails that we had to mind walking over. The kitchen had minimal items to use, including a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. There were a number of other issues. As soon as we were made aware of these issues, we contacted the local contact for assistance. As they tried to help us, we learned there were no other apartments available to move to. We left a message with the main office, and followed up with pictures and an email to property manager that we were leaving the next day as it was unacceptable and intolerable conditions for us to be staying there. A week later, a manager wrote me telling me they would refund the two nights that we paid for but didn't stay, and agreed the property was unacceptable with an apology. Unfortunately, it has been 3 months, and I have followed up with this company 4 times requesting our refund. As of today, I have received no response or refund. Do not stay with this company.

Great location very comfortable loved having a balcony. Very weird TV system involving having to unplug 1 box if you want to watch Sky and then replug in another if you want to watch basic telly.
