While place is spacious, it has not been renovated in over 50 years. We chose the place because we thought there would be other children around, but it was a bit of a ghost town by mid-August. The establishment does not recycle even though Rapid City has a recycling program.

For the price it was a good stay. Bed takes some get to use to. Beautiful grounds.

Employees very friendly-good recommendations for restaurants-Piesano and Millstone Bed, shower, TV excellent No bath exhaust fan, but window can be opened No ice machine but problem could be solved with ice trays and defrosting refrigerator I'll stay there next time I go to Rapid

Cabin was very quiet and comfortable. Could use some updating in the bathroom and kitchen areas but overall made for a very nice stay. Staff was very accommodating to all our needs.

This is regarding the Motel Style rooms, not cabins. They feel old and are grimmy. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything, that means the baby next door to the family rearranging chairs to get comfy to the young couple next door, if you know what I mean. Also, everything is dated and old. The toilet was loud when flushed, and for some reason, there was a hot water heater in our room that ran every time anyone around us used water. The fridge and freezer were easily from the 1970s, and overall, it seems like a cheap motel, not some place you want to take your family for a weekend away.

I loved this property for our family of 4. There is much to do outside. a park across the lake, walking paths along the stream. Paddle boats were available which our kids enjoyed. There was an ice cream truck in the parking lot. Wish that we could've stayed longer. There is so much to do in Rapid and all around it as well. We will definitely be back!

Easy check in. Deb was great! Super clean and comfortable beds! Picnic benches in front of our room to sit and watch the lake and ducks! Highly recommend!
