We arrived 20 minutes before check in time and they still said they had no room ready. The hotel is next o water that smells so horrible it is nauseating. They rip you off for their horrible food (we had lunch there). Not worth for the cost at all. Their pool is not even open till afternoon and even then they rent the area and you can't use it all the time. Bed was very comfortable and hotel was very clean.

Good location and interior.
Especially impressed with the shower with new and clean marble.
Room equipped with items that is practical, useful and good quality.
Not many hotels provide so many items anymore and most of them just put a notice to call house keeping if we need anything of which is discouraging guest to request due to the trouble.
Only slacking is housekeeping which mainly only do up the bed and not cleaning the basin well or replaced item which was used.

Highly recommend this hotel! Extremely clean and amazing location. Rooftop pool was fantastic with a view of the city and sea. I would not stay anywhere else in Izmir.

Staff was incredibly helpful and supportive. Hotel had a lot of great amenities, aside from the gym. It could do with some more equipment. Location is perfect.

I booked upgraded room with access to lounge and sea view. In Lounge was nothing
, when i arrived at the room until 1am was party on the roof top, the music was so loud that walls were shaky, i went to complain and they told me that it’s completely formal for hotels to make party, they gave me other with no sea view (that i paid double for it) but the same loud. I couldn’t sleep and had a glass of wine from the mini bar (didn’t look at the price as how much can cost?) it cost 45 usd !!!!!!! Be careful when you go there and avoid if possible was one of the worse experiences in my life and definitely worst for Marriot that i respect a lot.

We got our room upgraded with a half sea view. The room was spacious and the beds were large and comfortable. The employees were very nice and service minded. A staff member named Burak was very helpful in providing information on places of interest in Izmir.

Superb Guest Relations by Deniz who booked our fabulous trips to Cesme and Ephesus and guided our stay in such a helpful manner. Cisem and the from desk as well as Kerem and Kerim were fantastically helpful and accommodated us as a family very well and always smiled as we walked passed the front desk. The breakfast staff too were extremely helpful and accommodating and we have nothing but bid praise for them too.
We would highly recommend the Marriot and all their team and we would happily stay here without exception.
Highly recommend this hotel as central to the main Izmir attractions.

My friends and I traveled to Izmir for holiday and absolutely loved our stay at the Marriot. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and never hesitated to provide accommodations when necessary. The amenties and facilities were beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that youre unable to get in the pool after 6pm on the weekends because of the pool parties. My friends and I ended up going to the indoor pool downstairs instead, but we would have enjoyed sitting in the pool and watching the sunset.
