Very comfortable, well-equipped apartment, I enjoyed my stay. Location is in the centre of Barnard Castle so is convenient for shops cafes and the Bowes Museum. I'd definitely stay there again if it was available

This is self catering but tea coffee and sugar available all the things you would need to make yourself at home. Everything was straightforward . Wonderful accommodation, a real retreat, very peaceful. I expect to return

Booking .com app was useless, alerting me to messages then, when I went searching none to be found. Fortunately the host provided a mobile phone number so I was able to communicate

Great apartment in an excellent location,very quiet and everything you need ,really cosy and warm and modern throughout,responsive host and easy instructions .would definitely return.great value for money.

Right in the heart of town but really quiet at night.

Only thing missing was a towel rail and a bottle opener :-)

Good location easy access and plenty of room and comfortable

Could have done with some information on how to turn the heating and hot water on, and there is no phone signal in the flat. The WIFI was OK once I managed to login to the router
