Really lovely house with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay with family and friends. Have visited 9 times over the last few years. The warm pool is the icing on the cake. Helen is always super friendly and helpful.

We've been here several times before. Just a bit disappointed this time as we had to fish out clumps of what looked like dog hair ? Out of the pool.But as always Helen the house manager is so welcoming and extremely helpful.

This is about our 7th visit to this property. It’s smart & clean but not so posh that the kids are frightened to have a good time. Super easy check in & out. Lovely pub lunch at the Wheel. The pool is big & warm. Our kids range from 7-15 and they love it. We’ll keep booking until the teenagers don’t want to come anymore.

We have stayed 7 times now and will be back. Fantastic pool. Great for a short break with family.

Had a great couple of days at the property. It's in a lovely location, some really nice nearby pubs/cafes and the pool is great.

Great house and facilities. Used as.a base to see the local area. Swimming pool was a big plus, but we did find it too hot! Tip, take a fire stick if you have one to enhance the TV choice. Would happily recommend and will book again.

It is a wonderful and great cottage. Perfect for the whole family for relaxing and discovering the countryside and coast. I had never been in such a warm pool before.

Nice quiet old fashioned village. Property good potential however it certainly needs a lot of TLC. Pathways are very grubby and in desperate need of a clean. The garden around the pathways connected to the cottage has gone wild. The windows were filthy. On the inside, some cupboards were a disgrace. Radiators etc had rusted. Some pots and pans oven trays etc were a total disgrace. On the positive side, the one thing that sells this property is the pool. This was absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed our holiday because we made the best of everything. Unfortunately, I would not return to this particular property.

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage and enjoyed some pleasant days out in the vicinity (Hastings, Eastbourne, Bodian Castle, Bewl Water). The children and grown ups all enjoyed the wonderfully warm pool and fantastic views (and sunsets).

Enjoyed our stay, property was cosy for our family of 6, just big enough, best part was the swimming pool, whole process was easy with VRBO, only downside is you have to pay in full and no deposit or pay in instalment, if this option was available it would be good, overall very secluded, alot of privacy and quite area, thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, thank you Helen for making the whole process easy

We loved staying here, like home from home except for the amazing pool just behind the lounge door. Great for kids and adults alike. Helen was very helpful and checked on us which was lovely. Would definitely stay again

Communication with the owner and Helen was very straight forward, and very organised. Accommodation was clean, and spacious, with lovely views. Pool was an ideal temperature. We really enjoyed our stay.

This property was perfect for me my husband along with our two small dogs and our daughter, son in law and 9 and 4 year old granddaughters. The area is beautiful and the pool was fantastic especially as it was a very wet few days.

The pool is great and so warm. The views are lovely. There are great places to visit nearby and we have fabulous meals out.

We came as a family of 6 to celebrate my husbamds birthday and quickly fell in love with this cottage. The surroundings are beautiful and the pool was so lovely and warm....my 10 year old spent nearly the whole weekend in it! It was such a relaxing stay. Im so chuffed to have found this little gem and will be rebooking!

Our first stay and would definitely go again. The pool is fantastic and not what you’d expect in a family cottage like this. Shallow at one end for the kids and 2m deep at the other, the pool room itself felt like you were away overseas as it was very warm indeed. The bi-fold doors from the pool to the balcony highlighted the stunning views of the greenery from the surrounding nature. Bedrooms were large with comfy beds. The best part of it all has to be how helpful Helen was whenever we needed something. She was easily contactable on WhatsApp and responded almost immediately (Thank you for your assistance especially at 6:30am on a Bank Holiday Monday)! Placed about 30 mins to Eastbourne Beach and roughly 45 mins to Brighton Seafront, this cottage is a rare find in 1066 Country.

3rd visit - amazing private heated pool brings us back. Lovely views from the balcony and can catch sight of deer. Love the nearby farmshops/cafes and pubs.

Very nice Cottage, the star being the huge indoor pool - which the kids absolutely loved. Nice pub 5 mins walk away. Front garden was great for letting the dogs out as it’s completely enclosed, and a lovely space at the back to walk them on lead.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The swimming pool is the property’s saving grace.

This was our second visit to this property and once again we had a lovely stay. An absolute gem of a holiday rental, the pool is a wonderful luxury.

My parents aged 75+ with my husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was comfortable, well-equipped and cosy. It is well located for local amenties. The property was clean, tidy and relaxing to spend time in. The pool was brilliant, very warm and lovely to swim in. The terrace is amazing, beautiful views. The local agent was helpful, professional and well organised. The booking plans with the owner were well managed and helpful too. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended!
