Staff location and cafe next door (Nice Matin) was amazing and there’s a fab deli across the block too - Amsterdam deli. Great place but quite a long walk or taxi from touristy areas if that’s what you are after

My room was not ready despite arriving at 9pm. The doormen were not at all helpful and there was a constant banging noise in the room. Overall a very disappointing stay.

Excellent, friendly staff. Great location for UWS. Good bus and subway service nearby. Many nice pubs and restaurants nearby as well. Nice Matin restaurant adjoining was lovely.

The location is very good, away from the noise of Times Square, a quiet street and close to the Natural History Museum, to good restaurants and the subway station. But it's very expensive for what they offer, regular bed and not so good bathroom.

The staff at reception are just regular, they're not cooperative at all. The worst thing was the wifi which didn't work, the connection dropped every 2 minutes and reception didn't take any steps to fix it. At checkout I asked for a taxi to the airport, was offered transportation from the hotel itself, more expensive than a taxi and the driver dropped me off at the wrong terminal at JFK, even though she knew the company I was traveling with. This caused me a lot of inconvenience, tension and time to get to the correct terminal, on my own. The hotel driver should have been more professional and used to airport terminals, especially at an airport as large as JFK.

The television sets are confusing. It might be helpful to have a card of some sort left in the room near the TV explaining how to activate the TV set.

Location was perfect for our plans. Convenient for travel & lovely neighborhood.

Everything, check in and check out were seamless. We enjoyed the cable TV, just being able to relax and come and go when we pleased. The lucerne is so close to everything it's a perfect location.

A great location in the Upper West Side. The 4 Star restaurant the “Nice Matin” was our go to for breakfast during our stay.

UWS location; Entrance foyer neat and area to sit comfortably if waiting for taxi/friends etc. Room well appointed, on the small side, clean and well maintained (Queen - disabled). Nice Martin restaurant - good service, variety on the menu. Easy walk to the Museum of Natural History and Central Park; on M7 bus route and crosstown M79 and a block from the subway.

Great position near Central Park. Very helpful staff. I booked a twin room for my son and I, but ended up with a double. They were happy to move us to a better room the next day at no extra cost.
