Posizione eccezionale in un’area calma e ben servita. La camera da letto è arredata bene ed il bagno è di marmo bianco. Lo staff è accogliente. È possibile raggiungere a piedi molte delle principali attrazioni della città. All’entrata c’è un bar che vede ottimi prodotti per la colazione e dove è possibile avere dei drink alla sera.

Servizi quasi nulli (macchina del caffè guasta, mancanza di frigorifero in camera) e fitness center piccolo e dotato di attrezzatura vecchia e limitata.

L’emplacement est extraordinaire, le metro est à 100 mètres, des dizaines de restaurants , snacks , super marché dans la rue partallèles.

notre seul regret est le manque de frigoo dans la chambre juste pour tenir de l’eau au frais au minimum.

Fenster sind alt, schlecht isoliert. Klimaanlage sehr laut. Zimmer klein, Betten klein. Renoviert wurde schon lange nicht mehr.

De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt gewoon niet. De kamers zijn gedateerd. Er is wel een poging gedaan om het er beter uit te laten zien maar je ziet de scheuren en de afbraak en de ellende overal doorheen De badkamer is waardeloos. Klein en deels onbruikbaar. Fitnessruimte is oud en verwaarloosd. De website belooft van alles: "our hotel rooms, lofts and suites marry relaxing décor with modern luxuries." " a new standard for style and comfort " ik denk niet dat de schrijver het hotel ooit van binnen heeft gezien. Het is meer een hotel waar met minimale inspanning een poging gedaan is om alle vinkjes te halen. Er is voor minder geld wel iets beters te vinden.

Hotel is great, with a nice design touch, staff is very friendly and managed to find a solution for all of our problems. The location in Upper West Side next to Central Park is the best to stay, a bit farther off the loud downtown. I'd stay at the Arthouse if I visit NYC again, it was a great experience.

Nothing to complain, really. A rooftop/terrace would be a nice to have.

Front desk staff seemed a bit cranky when we were checking in and out. The room was spacious but there was no window. So don’t be misled by the photos here. I’m pretty sure that even rooms with windows don’t have a view of Manhattan like the one presented here.

Great staff - they have made me feel at home. Very nice room with great view. Hotel is in a very nice corner of NYC, Upper West Side, close to Central Park, Subway, bars and shops in Neighborhood.

I liked a lot of the staff at the front desk, very nice, very attentive and kind. There were good coffee and breakfast places at walking distance. I appreciate specially that it wasn't in a noisy area of NYC, I think that if you actually wanna sleep this is a good place to stay.

The decoration of the rooms was a bit strange to me, not what I was expecting. I guess I didn't really look at the pictures. The elevators were also a bit small. The doorman was never there to help or open the door.

The hallways smelled like urine and cigarettes, the elevators are very slow and the room could have been cleaner.

GREAT location--two blocks from the 1 train and five blocks from the express 2 and 3 trains. Tons of restaurants, bars, drugstores, etc. within a few blocks of the hotel. The bar in the hotel is good--pleasant sitting area but of course the drinks are a bit pricey (there are Happy Hour prices, though). The rooms are bigger than expected for a NYC hotel. Pillows were a bit soft for me but the bed was comfortable. The A/C in the room and hotel is fantastic. All staff members I encountered were friendly and kind.

No clock in the room Staff not great - I am used to staying at Marriott brand hotels. The service at this hotel is not even close to the level at Marriott's 3 star hotels. Bill was wrong. Had to contact them several times. Finally got a corrected bill but they put through an extra charge on my card that I am waiting for them to fix.

Habitación amplia y limpia, con ventana pequeña, no tiene mucha luz natural, pero como uno pasa todo el día afuera no es tan relevante. La gente muy amable en el counter. Hay un café en el lobby pagado. Esta muy cerca de la linea del metro y de Central Park. Es un lugar con poco ruido y menos gente. Hay supermercado y farmacia a poca distancia.

Por el precio al menos debería tener un desayuno. Pero en NY todo es extremadamente caro.

We were amazed by the size of our room and loved the view of Broadway. The location was an A+, lots of things to do within walking distance and easy access to the subway.

We found a hair in the bath tub. We had no idea how to access the wi-fi, that info should be available in the room somewhere. The previous occupants left a purse in the room, which should have been easily found by housekeeping.

A step above the rest in quiet yet central location.

Das Zimmer war erstaunlich groß für den Preis und üblichen New Yorker Größenverhältnissen. Die Lage ist perfekt! Direkt neben dem Central Park gelegen und 2 Minuten von der Bahn Station die fast überall hinführt entfernt. Was die Lage und die Zimmergröße angeht hätten wir uns kaum etwas besseres vorstellen können. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wiederkommen und es weiterempfehlen.

Allerdings gibt es kleiner Mankos die nach einer Überarbeitung zu einem fast perfektem Hotel führen könnten. Zum einen war das Bett sehr weich, was allerdings Geschmacksache ist. Dazu kommt allerdings noch ein durchaus verwirrender Bezug der Decke, der mich Nachts manchmal hat aufwachen lassen da ich einfach nicht gut mit der Konstellation des Bezugs klargekommen bin(eher eine Deckenunterlage als ein Deckenbezug). Zudem ist uns auch aufgefallen, dass wir öfter nachfragen mussten was das auffüllen der Sanitärprodukte angeht (Seife & Toilettenpapier). An sich kein großer Akt und für den Großteil auch nicht Erwähnenswert. Deshalb ist es nur eine Sidenote die nicht schlimm ist, aber man verbessern könnte Zukunft. Es kann ja schließlich auch nicht alles perfekt sein :)

Liveliness of the hotel + always smiling & assisting staff. Perfect location in Manhattan. Spacious rooms. Very tasteful bakery/cafe in the lobby. Live music in the lobby bar at evenings.

You were unable to open windows in the room. The A/C heating was very noisy. The flush in the toilet was not working properly. These issues must be fixed immediately. Nevertheless, we are happy for staying in this hotel.

The ArtHouse Hotel is a little gem of a hotel. The staff was amazing and we loved everything about the hotel. We will definitely rebook with them on our next trip to NYC

Great location on Broadway. The room was well lit with plenty of outlets for technology and a comfortable bed. Great shower. I loved the fact that the bed had a sheet and a duvet so I could add or throw off layers as needed. I don't like it when hotels only provide a duvet which can be too warm.

No soap at the bathroom sink. I had to open the shower to get soap from the pump bottle inside. I know most hotels use pump bottles now instead of bars of soap, but I don't like them. They are usually too high and require both hands to get soap out.

American Museum of National History is almost around the corner, and all the other great museums are just a short walk away, a beautiful walk across Central Park. A stylish sitting/ reading area with many interesting art books. Live music in the evening adds plenty of ambience (not sure it's every day, but we had it each evening of our two night stay).

Nothing really to complain about. A small and narrow lobby sharing the reception, bar, breakfast stand and sitting area. As a result, you will have people with large suitcases often stuck between people who, at the same time, eat or drink or read or listen to the music. Not real breakfast, just a stand with coffee and cakes.

It was perfectly located for what we needed, and it was only one minute from the parking garage where we had a reservation.

The air conditioning didn’t work very well. It was 77 degrees in the room even with the AC running the whole time, and with 3 people sharing the space and taking showers it was very uncomfortable. We arrived late, around 11 pm, and were exhausted or I would’ve asked for another room. Since we were staying only one night it didn’t seem worth the trouble. But for what we paid I expected it to be cool enough to sleep well, and it wasn’t.

Great location, nicely appointed room & great staff. House keeping staff very friendly and did a great job. Within walking distance of The Natural History Museum & Central Park. They also had a wonderful transportation flat rate to LaGuardia. Perfect ending to my trip.
