The breakfast was good with various of options to choose from. The location, it was directly on the beach and the view was amazing. The staff was super friendly. The security (as far as always needing your key card).

There was no program guide on the TV and no identification of what show was on. They said we had to google it. Totally annoying. So you had no idea what show you were watching.

The tv’s were dinosaurs. No streaming capabilities. The tv had no way to even know what was on a particular station. Guide didn’t work, only one remote worked. Seems like this was from the early 2000’s.

The best view downstairs was from the eating area, which was only open during breakfast hours. I am an early riser (usually before 5:00 am. I had to leave the room so the rest of my family could sleep. I would have loved to be able to sit in the breakfast area and watch the sun come up. Instead, I had to look at the lobby/front desk while I did my paperwork.

The staff at breakfast was very courteous! Front desk was very kind! I needed an extra suitcase, luggage rack, they had it up to our room within five minutes of asking for one. I can’t tell you how nice it was to stay at a clean and friendly facility

Great location, property clean, and kept up well

It was right on the beach. As soon as you walk out, your practically in the sand. Right on boardwalk. It’s close to food. Housekeeping was great. Friendly staff.

It was pretty plain. The pictures look differently than in person. Couch was uncomfortable to sit on, crappy coffee in the room and lobby. Breakfast was not that good, very dry and not alot of variety. Definitely a place more for senior citizens.

The location is supreme. I loved watching the sunrise and set from the oceanfront balcony. Dolphins played in front of the hotel every morning. It was amazing. The staff responds quickly to needs. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and I bought some of their pillows for home because they are perfectly firm/squishy.

My only complaint about my multiple night stay is that the sink was clogged. I reported it but no one came to unclog it. Perhaps they came while I was out and had the ‘do not disturb’ tag on the door.

The views of the beachfront were amazing.

The pool was cold and the exercise equipment did not work at all.

I loved the room with two king beds. The pool and hot tub were nice. When i asked for anything, it was taken care of quickly.

More bacon in the breakfast buffet other than one day would be better!

The rooms were excellent and the view amazing. But most importantly, customer service. They were present throught and appear like they really enjoy their job. Their energy was contagious and you could see the guests were really happy.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room was really clean, and housekeeping came by and tidied up while we were out (BIG THANK YOU to Lizzye for that!) Everyone on staff we met was friendly.

Parking in the deck is a pain if you have a bigger vehicle, but other than that I can't think of anything else.

I absolutely 💯% love love love this hotel! Its amazing! Awesome all the way around! This was my 3rd year in a row staying here! I will continue to stay at Coastal anytime I plan a trip to Virginia beach! The staff is great! (Love the lady who is a host at breakfast) The hotel is right in the middle of everything. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment ect... love the idea of walking right out the back door and there's the beach! The hotel is so worth checking out! I've always loved the variety of breakfast options! I love how the separation of the bedrooms and both having there own T.V. This is my pick for hotels in Virginia Beach, VA ❤

I love everything! I did mention before, it would be nice to have another chair available for the balcony. Or even a chair in both of the bedrooms except just 1! But can't complain really!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The rooms were very cozy. The staff was extremely friendly. The location couldn't be better. We will be coming back.

the sliding bedroom door did not lock, the other bedroom did not have a door option. Things were falling apart, fridgerator was leaning. rooms could prolly be updated.
