This location was perfect for our typical Monterey activities. It was a five minute walk to the beach and a short walk to a nearby park. It was close to downtown Monterey for their farmers market and the aquarium in the morning too. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable.
I honestly loved it all! They had just fixed their pool and spa so the heater wasn’t working yet, but this was not a big deal for us.

It was a nice location to the pier. Everything was walking distance

I like the room, it was very spacious and clean. The outside was cute and maintained.
The first thing I didn't like is that someone was given our same room from the front desk and given key access to our room the second night we were staying there. A woman walked in, and luckily, my husband met her at the door. The good and bad in that is luckily we were there, so nothing got stolen. The bad thing is, they could have walked into an intimate moment, and that's not professional of the staff to give out our room; that should have been logged as booked!
The second thing I did not like is that they only gave you 1 1/2 toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, and it was super thin toilet paper.
The third thing I didn't like was that the cafe was no longer open there and that would have been nice to know beforehand.
The last thing I didn't like is that my husband went to the front desk and ask the lady if she had any change to break some bills because the soda machine wasn't taking our dollars and she said " no, there should be water in your room." My husband informed her we didn't have any, and he'd buy one if it's available, and the woman looked irritated and gave him two water bottles. Just a little hospitality note, be kind to your guests and smile.

The bed was comfortable and it was a big room.
The walls were pretty thin so we could easily hear people outside. And the shower curtain didn’t keep the water in so the floor got all wet.

De locatie is vlakbij het centrum van Monterey. De ideale uitvalbasis.
Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig! En ook de kamer was proper en ruim.
De badkamer kan wel een update gebruiken. En doordat onze kamer vlak naast een gasstation was, was er wel veel en regelmatig lawaai van auto’s en vrachtwagens. Maar al bij al viel dat binnen in de kamer nog wel mee.

Clean and fresh.
This is our second time because we like but this time we didn’t upgrade and bathroom area was smaller and not as comfortable. The upgraded room was better no one over you. We heard toilets flush repeatedly this time and didn’t previously.

Very nice place at a nice part of the town, I highly recommend to stay a night in the Monterey Bay Lodge. It's close to the beach and old Monterey downtown it in an enjoyable walking distance with many restaurants.
The facility has an open heated pool and open parking lot.
We arrived late evening and left early morning, but still enjoyed the above options :)

Such a beautiful and relaxing place, I highly recommend this place, the heated pool and hot tub was amazing. the room was great and clean, the bed was super comfy, the outside patio was so nice to hangout and relax while having some drinks.

Location is great. Plenty of parking and pet friendly.
Noisy. I got a room in 1st floor, and people above us were so Noisy walking around for hours. Also, this hotel rooms are facing the street. My advice is get a room in a second floor.

No funcionaba el jacuzzi pero el agua estaba caliente igualmente ;)

Lodge ist fusslaeufig zum Strand, Zimmer sind ausreichend groß mit großem TV
Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, deswegen hat das Zimmer auch diesen muffeligen Klimaanlagengeruch (Teppich); kein Frühstück
