Me and my children came down for a family wedding and this location was perfect. It was close to the wedding venue as well as the reception and near other family and friends nearby. We are familiar with the Richmond area so getting to stores and restaurants was no problem. I only wished that they served breakfast (But there is a McDonalds within walking distance so we was good) but other than that, we enjoyed our stay!!
The only thing was not having breakfast in the morning. That would have been the icing on the cake. Even if just coffee/juice, cereal, bagels, fruit, etc. Something is better than nothing.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable and it has a working MW and Fridge in the room. The pool was very nice the relax from the heat. It has EV chargers in the parking lot
Too far from downtown and it houses a restaurant but it is quite pricey for what they offer.
The bed linens were stretched but the beds were not correctly made after the first day

The lady at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating.
The floors were FILTHY, our feet were black from the dirt on there. The toilet had pubic hairs on it. The shower had no tolerable temperature. It was either hot as the depths of hell, or cold as the iceberg that sank the titanic. The bedside light didn’t turn on. The pool had no towels and when we did receive towels they barely cover you, (think hand towel size). Finally the orange bench nearest the tv appeared to have a white stain( likely semen 🤮)

We booked in Richmond by accident. We needed to stay in Roanoke. We were told our money would be returned and, thus, booked at a Best Western in Roanoke. The Richmond location did not return the money.

This Place was NOT pet-friendly!!!! Also, the staff/manager/owner was very rude. I asked them to please cancel my reservation since they are not pet-friendly & they charge for cancellation, they would not. And, the hotel did not respond to Booking.com about a cancellation. If you love your pet & travel with your pet, this is not a place for us pet owners. Location is off the highway with neighboring industrial factories surrounding

I think that not offering a free breakfast when charging such a high price is insulting.
There was no ice bucket, no cups, no pad or pencil, no DO NOT DISTURB sign. The floor was sticky and there was a stain on the bed sheet in the middle of the bed.

Comfortable bed and clean room
Property in the middle of nowhere, traveled around for 20 minutes and no where to eat. The property restaurant was closed. Another strange thing was there was no cold water, the tap only had either hot or warm water, no cold. Very strange. I've stayed at other Best Western properties all with breakfast included, this was a Best Western Premier, which charges for breakfast. NO other amenities to make it a Premier property. Weird

I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast. Not too much of selection. Most places have complementary breakfast. There was a menu and someone had to make it for you. There was a fee.

Very quiet and easy access to I95.
Breakfast was no longer included. Changed after our reservation. They did however give us vouchers for what they offered at the restaurant next door.
Title floors were dirty in the room. Recommend wearing socks while walking around.

False advertising! The room was booked with breakfast included, then a email was sent when it was too late to cancel that the policies had changed and breakfast was now a charge. I was unable to cancel nor did they offer to compensate for the breakfast

found a roach in my room… in the morning.. plus upon entering I can tell the housekeepers was slacking… I felt like I needed to clean the room just to be comfortable

I liked that there was a bar downstairs.
Toilet did not flush, light kept going in and out on own, tub overflowed. On site manager was rude. Switched us to another room with a broken toilet again. Spoke to owner in the morning who stated that she could not do anything and it was up to the manager to find a resolution or resolve with some kind of compensation adjustment. Nothing was resolved. Manager called to apologize but did not offer a resolution. As a parent of two special needs kids, this property is not recommended and is deplorable in its customer service efforts.
