Ran out of hot water when showering Only had 2 wash cloths in the room, and there weren't any others clean in the hotel. Had to wait until the next day to get more.

The hotel was close to JMU which we were visiting on a college visit. It didn't seem that they had a lot of staff. The one girl there ran the desk, filled up the coffee stations, and ran the breakfast. Not sure how she managed it all but she was nice and courteous. The hotel itself is fine, rooms are smallish but fine for one or two nights. The walls must be very thin though because it was really noisy at night and we heard a lot of yelling and screaming on our floor. The hotel breakfast was not great because they ran out of most items quickly, so we did not have anything. But location is good if you are just passing through for one night.

Used to be dog free and clean. Now dogs every where and room smelled.

Beds

Check in. The first room the door wasn’t locked and there was someone else’s luggage in the room The second room only a small light in the corner worked. All other lights were non functional The third room was satisfactory.

Pillows on the bed were typical hotel pillows.

The most uncomfortable bed ever--so hard, and all the pillows squished flat. I woke up every hour from the pain in my shoulders and hips. Breakfast was not great. The biscuits were awful and eggs and potatoes had peppers in them. That's fine if you like peppers, but I don't and it would be nice if they had plain ones as well. I usually pick Hampton Inn and have always found them comfortable in the past. This one was a disappointment.
