Fantastic home cooked breakfast!!

The breakfast was fantastic with extra snacks available through the day. It was very close to town! We could walk just about everywhere.

Very cozy and quaint. Whimsical paintings, making it feel authentically German.

it was very comfortable. And VERY convenient to all the shops and restaurants.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

The property had the German guest house kind of feel to it. The hospitality of the owners was10/10, they went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. They made you feel so comfortable, like you were staying with family. The breakfast was amazing! They served scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and sausage, four types of fresh fruit, and pancakes with either bananas or peaches in them or Belgium waffles during our stay.

Everything was great! The room was clean. We felt welcomed from the beginning. Angie went above and beyond. I arrived the first morning late for breakfast and Angie & them made it a point to make sure I still had a great breakfast! We will stay again!

Perfect location, right on Main St. Staff/owner bent over backwards for every need. Angie fixed a wonderful breakfast each morn, best eggs ever, sausage, bacon, waffles/pancakes, fresh fruit etc. Tons of snacks for guests to have anytime. Even supplied bags of ice! Nice courtyard w/patio tables/chairs, fire pit, fish pond. Nicest, accommodating owner/staff we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, Terry & Angie!!

Breakfast was amazing, staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean.

Parking was a little tight.

Very cozy and roomy. Everything was walking distance and that was a plus. Breakfast was very good.

Only issue we had was that my husband is very hot natured and it was hard for him to sleep. The temperature of the room wasn’t cold enough for him.

Staff was very courteous, and accommodated our request for an earlier breakfast due to our travel plans. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room hot tub was perfect!

Parking was tight, but acceptable. Would be challenging for large trucks to park in the lot on the left side of the building (when facing the building from the street).

Location was great. Rooms were clean.

Breakfast was amazing! Staff was so incredibly welcoming and kind. The room was very adorable and the jacuzzi was amazing. Definitely staying here again.

Loved the room. The staff were amazing and willing to help in any way they could. Made the trip very relaxing and worth every penny. I would absolutely stay here again. ☺️

Terry and the staff were great. Breakfast was good. The jacuzzi was very nice. I joked with Terry of trying to figure some way to take it home with us without him knowing, but I couldn't do it. Lol Location is very convenient, and within walking distance to shopping and dining. We hope to be able to stay at Black Forrest again.

The only minus was having to climb stairs to get to our room.
