It was great even for funeral.
Breakfast could of been better no small biscuits with sausage in them and eggs would of been nice with either bacon or sausage patties bigger.

I reserved this room when our power got knocked out due to the storms that swept through Oklahoma at that particular time. We were told our power wouldn't be back on until the following weekend. Well we ended up getting lucky and our power came back on the day before the reservation so I immediately tried to cancel and get a refund so that someone else who may not have been as lucky as we were at that time, could've had a place to stay that had power. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to get a hold of someone at the hotel, I finally gave up because I was getting nowhere. So instead of someone else getting to sleep in the A/C at that time (because it was very hot), nobody got the room and I never received a refund or a simple acknowledgment explaining the situation. I thought that was pretty lame to take advantage of myself by not issuing a refund but what was even worse is it caused someone else that could've had the room for the night to miss out on it. I have since deleted the Booking app from my phone and computers and refuse to ever stay at another La Quinta or any other hotel chain that is under their umbrella. Thanks, have a good day!

the front desk person. was terrible. she wouldn’t give me her name and wasn’t wearing a name tag. when I wanted the charge some water and snacks to my room. she said it was a cash only property and that I should just read the sign if I didn’t look the policy. then when I asked about the extra 100 fee for incidentals she that was for any damage to the room and if I didn’t like I should read the sign and that she wasn’t going to talk to me anymore. this person needs a lot of training and therapy. By contrast the next morning another person who checked me out, also without a name tag was very pleasant. too bad one bad front desk person can spoil the whole trip, but that’s why it’s called the service business.

pool was pretty cold(our kids lips were blue) and found a baggie with cannabis and a glass pipe wrapped in a towel in our bathroom….

Cleanliness of the room. There was sticky spots on the chair and desk in the room and hair on the floor of the bathroom.
Also, ran out of waffle mix in the morning.

it’s next to a train that blows a horn all night long. hotel allowed groups to run up and down the halls all night long and it was so noisy. our group loves a good time in the lobby until quiet time but the hallways should be off limits.

I went to get an orange juice and the first cup was leaking from the bottom. Got another cup and another cup and they all leaked. I noticed several people had the same problem and the waffle maker only worked part time. I didn't try that but I saw several people who did.
The day staff was rude. I can in early and was told I could not check in until 3 which was fine. I sat in the lobby for 1 1/2 hrs. The staff knew I was in the lobby but did not come out and check me in for almost 30 minutes after check in time. I asked if there was a problem and was told it was my problem for coming early. No hot water in the basin. The back door you had to run at to get it open. A gentleman was unable to in the back door, went and got someone and was told you had to use your card and jerk the handle down.. He told them he was not used to damaging property to get access. I have stayed there before and enjoyed everything about it. My son lived in Claremore but I will not stay there again unless there are a lot of changes made. The staff on the weekend was very nice just want to clarify that.

No daily housekeeping service, no clock radio in the room, no freezer component in the fridge, limited breakfast options (as opposed to the Stillwater La Quinta, who served scrambled eggs and sausage).
