The breakfast during weekdays was good and most staff members were very friendly.

It just wasn’t Selina standard in any way. We booked two nights in the same room, same room style and on the same booking but their system messed up and made it it into two separate bookings so we had to pack up and check out / check in again for two nights! The same thing happened when we booked through their own app for a Selina in Baños so it’s definitely a fault on their system. We had a private room with shared bathroom on floor 3 on our first night and the bathroom on our floor was locked, we asked the receptionist but the answer was ‘oh yeah it was locked last night too, you can use the bathrooms on the other floors’. The wifi didn’t work at all from our room, it wasn’t even picked up as an option. The bedsheets in two rooms smelt like damp and one room smelt like cheesy feet - again just not Selina standard at all. The rooms were also absolutely freezing. On weekends the breakfast turns into a buffet and it’s annoying as you get less options than you would on a weekday when you can pick from quite a few things on the menu.
