The hotel room did not have electric outlets by the bed. Shower a bit small.

The location of this hotel is spectacular. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. It was so lovely to sit in bed and listen to the waves roll in. It's just a short walk downhill to the cute town. They have parking too which is so helpful. The staff was incredibly nice. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant and it was very complete with eggs, pastries and such. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was really good. I had a local fish in acquapazza and it was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel and location!! Vietri sul Mare is lovely!

The view is breathtaking honestly. The breakfast was a wonderful selection of warm food and pastries. Make sure to learn the bus schedule to get around if you don’t want to walk the huge hills back to the main area where all the shops and food are. Also take a Taxi to and from the train station. It is cobble stone all the way down.

The worst thing I can say is the mosquitoes are active

We used the hotel lucertola as a stopover on our way south and it was worth every penny just for the view. As it was out of season, the restaurant was not open, but there are many places to eat in the town, we even found a sushi restaurant!! (which was very good), but be warned and this may be obvious because the town is built on a cliff there are many steps, although most of the slopes of the roads are quite gentle. The hotel staff we found very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony with a fantastic view of the gulf of Salerno. Breakfast was very good in the panoramic restaurant. Vietri sul Mare is away from the area around the town of Amalfi near to Salerno - which is worth a visit - and convenient for the autoroute if travelling by car.

Was surprised by how nice the place was for the price. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a little old but was comfortable and had a nice view of the water.

It's by the marina, down a big hill from the town and the bus that takes you up the coast. It's a little bit of walk to get up the hill, or else you can take a bus.

Wouldn’t recommend the dinner there but there are other restaurants in the area.

Great location, close to the ferries and the breakfast was nice too. Housekeeping was wonderful. Vietri Sul Mare is a hidden gem. I wish we had stayed longer.

Fabulous location, beautiful views from bedroom balcony. 5 minute walk to beach, 10 minutes up hill to town. Great restaurants nearby. Breakfast had a good selection. Reception very helpful.

stunning location, staff warm and friendly, room was extremely clean and well equipped. Good breakfast with lovely patio overlooking the sea.

we went out of season so some facilities were closed, it’s obvious they have modernised the hotel and some areas in particular outside and the beach area still needs work but didn’t stop us from having a lovely time.

Amazing platform for sunbathing and swimming! Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and coffee: very friendly staff. Great quality sheets and towels and bathroom toiletries. Nice view.

The hotel is a little run down on the outside, the room are pleasant and in good order. I wished we had stayed longer in Sorrento, completely different vibe.

That we had to pay e15 each to go down to the beach. As there was no pool i dont think we should have had to pay to go to the beach.

Beautiful view from the balcony, cozy and authentic room with beautiful tiles in the bathroom. Really loved the solarium the hotel offers.

A little expensive to use the solarium.

The view and service at the breakfast were good.

The rooms were outdated, and not very carefully cleaned (picture). Service at the front desk was not very kind especially at our arrival. Curtains in our room were stained (picture), showerhead was broken and one of the wall lamps aswell. There was renovation going on at the hotel that we were not informed of - the hotel's sundeck for example wasn't available for use although it had been marketed at the booking site. Not very good value for money in our experience.
