We had the most amazing time staying at this fantastic villa. Mr & Mrs Foti and family were warm, welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. They even provided the most delicious home made wine and fresh fruit and vegetables. The pool was a real highlight and the villa itself was beautiful. Would definitely return.

An absolutely lovely place, very spacious and the pool and outdoor terrace are brilliant as is the spectacular view of Mount Etna. could not recommend it more highly.

What a beautiful place! We were two families with 5 children 8-14 years old, and it was just perfect all over. Really an oasis, very lush and extremely well kept gardens with lots of flowers, impressive lemon orchard and just so very tranquil. Impressive house as well with lots of history and rustic charm. Very comfortable! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and really wanted to make us feel at home. Lovely, clean pool and great views. We highly recommend this place!

The house, the location and the whole atmosphere are a dream. Unfortunately, we were only there for a week and would have liked to stay longer. The house has so many beautiful corners that you can't choose where you would like to be :) The pool and the outdoor kitchen are an absolute highlight. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Riposto - the nearby small town - has what you need in terms of groceries, food market, ice cream, etc. It’sa very short drive. Otherwise Mount Etna, Siracusa, Noto are all a distance that can be done as a daytrip. The house is beautiful and surrounded by a big lemon grove. The furniture and beds are not luxurious but were definitely acceptable. We didn’t miss anything. The hosts were so kind and responsive. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa due leoni. Surrounded by lemon trees with a great swimming pool and huge terrace it is hard not to.

It’s a lovely house with an amazing view and kind people! We were staying a week at the house and really enjoyed, it’s perfect for a group.

The owners of the house are very friendly, lovely and helpful people. Since the estate is a bit outside of Riposto, we met them in the city centre. Inspite of the fact that we were late, the check-in was without any problem. The house is big, we had a very comfortable stay (it was 6 of us plus 2 small children). The view of the Etna from the pool is faboulus. The beach is close, you need to have a car though. The owners regularily checked out if it is everything OK, it was very kind of them that they cared. I can recommend this apartment, altogether we spent there a lovely week.

Maison très agréable pour notre séjour estival, nous avons pleinement profité de la terrasse, de sa piscine et du barbecue. Les chambres avec lits adultes sont grandes et climatisées. M & Mme Foti sont très attentifs à ce que le séjour se passe bien , nous ont donné de bons conseils de plages et ont gâté les enfants avec des gelatti alla fragola.

If you want to relax by the pool to the sound of running water, while enjoying the view of Mount Etna, in a wonderful and huge villa that caters for everything you can possibly need, with wonderful hosts Mr Foti and family who couldn't have been more helpful or kind or generous .... then this is the place for you! Wonderful location, safe and quiet and tranquil in the lemon groves, ideal location very near to the shops, sea front, harbour ....just lovely. Can heartily recommend booking to stay here, we will be back for sure.

The villa is excellent and in a great location for many places in the East coast of Sicily. Being surrounded by Lemon groves and beautiful gardens was also brilliant! The pool and outside area are fantastic and the whole place is very spacious. Communication was easy and very responsive. Would love to visit again in future!

Unique family-owned Lemon Orchard Farm opened to us with all its charming objects, painting, china and wonderful terrace with 360-degree view on beautiful garden, lemon trees, sea and the Etna volcano. Perfect for a relaxing winter vacation: we enjoyed the Sicilian sun during the day, the cozy fireplaces in late afternoon and tons of freshly squeezed lemon, orange and grapefruit juice all week long.

When I saw the pictures of the Villa Due Leoni I had no idea it was not going to do this justice. Pippo & Maria Grazie met us in town to take us to the villa . We followed them though a narrow path leading up to this amazing villa hidden among the lemon orchards . The villa was spacious , clean , fully furnished with all the amenities. The pool was right out of a Roman bath with its running water pump keeping it clear and the sun giving it warmth . My 3 weeks here with family & friends was so much fun . This villa had 3 kitchens , the favorite was outside by the pool with a picturesque view of Mt Etna in one direction & the Mediterranean in the other. A few nights Pippo told us where to buy the coal for barbecuing ribs outside . Pippo & Maria Grazie were such great host . Pippo came with large bottles of wine from a local vineyard. It was really good ! Because of the large amount of friends Maria Grazie made sure we had enough towels & sheets . I was awoken in the morning with sounds of the roosters and the sun coming though the curtains . It was so peaceful I just wanted to get up and seize the day . Everyone who came was as amazed by the beauty as we were . Even the gardener Johnny came by with fresh eggs , zucchini, tomatoes & basil with made a wonderful caprise salad . We swam everyday, enjoyed sitting in all the quant areas throughout the yard . The saddest thing was the day we had to give back the keys knowing our stay at the Villa Leoni was over . If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay with a view and large enough for a group of 12-14. Don’t pass up your stay here with Pippo & Maria Grazie Foti as the hostess with the mostess! There was 6 adults and 2 small children, with lots of space still in the house. The house is set in lemon tree farm which is lovely. The pool was fantastic especially with small children. Both day and night had fantastic views of Etna. The lovely couple who own the property Mr & Mrs Forti are very caring and can’t do enough (even brought us local wine :-). Always checking to see if we need anything’s for everything was ok. We had one small problem with electrics due to a big storm, but Mr & Mrs Forti got it sort straight away with no hesitation. We, a three generation family of 8, had a wonderful week at Villa Due Leoni. We especially enjoyed the pool area and terrace and had long breakfasts and dinners at the outdoor table. The house is big, well equipped and with lots of character. Communication with caretaker and owners was smooth and friendly. There are a couple of things to consider. There were lots of mosquitos and wasps, which is good to know if you are allergic. Secondly it is good to have a car to make excursions in the area. The promenade into town is not the most picturesque. Overall we highly recommend Villa Due Leoni for a nice family vacation.

We were two families with young children and have a lot of experience renting holiday homes. The house used to be a winery, but after some accident long time ago it was made into a lemon plantation in stead. That is why the living rooms has a very high ceiling (this was where they stored the wine before). We had a really good time! The house is a little dated, but everything works fine. All bedrooms have AC, although some of the beds are more comfy than others. All bedrooms are on the second floor, which makes it easy walking between the outside/pool area, and to your room. The outside area is very nice with shaded areas, sun chairs with cushions etc. There is a fantastic view of Etna and the area around. The pool has a fence around - perfect when you have small children. There is also an outside kitchen if you want to make food out doors. There is a fridge both downstairs and upstairs which makes it easy cooling water, drinks, food etc. They have a dishwasher. We had good communication with the elderly couple Mr and Mrs Foti. They came almost every day. They are happy to help and answer questions. There are also workers coming and going, as it is a working lemon plantation. Although they don't come into the house or pool area, some might feel that there is always someone else around. Since there are many trees around, you also have many midges. The electrical system might need an upgrade, as lights often flash when starting for instance the AC. You must have a car to get to the house, and the house has enough parking space. The road is a little bumpy and narrow right at the end, but that's part of the experience. Giarre was not the nicest of towns, but there are many nice towns and villages around that the Fotis can tell you about. We went to Etnaland, to Etna of course, and there are many good wineries in the area (we went to Planeta and Barone di Villagrande - both recommended). I also recommend the bakery Piccolo Forno, 10 min driving from the house. All in all we had a great time. We spent many hours in the pool and sunbed area. There is also an area in front of the house where there is a little space to play ball games. There are a lot of nice decorations and plants out side which give the place a nice charm. We would not mind coming again. Thank you for a great stay!

We were a group of nine staying at Villa Due Leoni - with an age range from 15 through to 72 - the house is a little set back from the town, so a walk into town is required - however this also means the house is very peaceful, surrounded by lemon trees and with spectacular views of every changing Etna from the pool. We were well looked after by our hosts and really enjoyed our stay.

We spent a great week in September in this house. Located near Giarre the house is in fact a large property, almost a compound, with a big yard, terraces, pool, and all the amenities. Built on a refurbished old winery, the house is large, tastefully decorated, relaxed, well equipped and secured. Although we were 6 adults in our group, there was plenty of room for all of us without intruding in each other’s privacy. Bedrooms are large and comfortable with thoroughly clean bathrooms, properly stocked with all necessities. The whole house was nicely furnished, well stocked, attractive, at ease, and fun. The property is conducive to self-catering as it provides several well-equipped kitchens, barbecue grill, and outside and inside dining tables. It was quite fun to cook in the evenings and spend time with our friends in this relaxed and pleasant environment. The property is in fact a functioning large family vacation home which is sometimes rented out. The owners are a really nice retired couple who do not live on the premises. They greeted us upon our arrivals and met them several times during our stay. It was a pleasure to chat with them and listen to the history of this amazing place. They were always hospitable, warm, well informed and helpful. Sometimes in the morning we would even find, on a table outside, a nice bottle of their house wine waiting for us as a present. The exterior of the house is at least as pleasurable as the interior. Well stocked with long chairs around the refreshing pool, tables everywhere, chairs in the garden. All around there are pieces of art made in-situ by a local artist. There is also a charming lemon garden where one can lay on a long chair for a reading or a chat. The whole property is well secured electronically and therefore safe. There is also ample parking space for several cars. An exceptional property, large, comfortable, and welcoming, well suited mostly for groups. We had a great time there and we recommend it highly.

We stayed at Due Leoni for two weeks in October 2017. The villa and the surrounding lemon farm was just gorgeus. There was a big terrace and a fenced pool, which was important to us travelling with small children. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They stopped by several times during our stay, taking care of the pool and making sure we have everything we need. The surrounding of the villa was very nice and quiet, only interrupted by passing trains and farm roosters every now and then. The views from the terrace to Etna mountain and the mediterranean sea were just beautiful! There were a few smaller grocery stores quite close by, and also a bigger supermarket Conforama at about 15-20 minutes drive away from the villa. A car was definitely needed. We would be glad to go back some day and would warmly recommend this villa for a vacation in Sicily!

A lovely, large property with great pool and views set in the most wonderful (and extensive) Lemon Grove which completely surrounds the villa. Our host Mr Foti visited most days and was very approachable and friendly. The villa is set just outside Riposto down a rather unprepossessing lane, but once within the villa you feel in the countryside, miles away! Easy distance to Taormina and Etna. Recommended.

Our family of 5 (3 teenage children and parents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were very thoughtful and helpful; the outside space and views of Etna on one side and the sea on the other were wonderful. We hardly used the large reception room or downstairs kitchen because the weather was so warm and we spent a lot of time at the sea. The bedrooms were comfortable and we were glad of the air conditioning. Thank you for a lovely week.

We stayed there for 2 weeks, and we would love to stay much longer! The house is very comfortable, the garden and the terrace is beautiful and the kids loved especially the pool! The owners are very lovely and caring. The views are astonishing, from one side the lemon orchard and from the other side Etna. The sea is very close and very nice, the restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed it very much!!
