Gorgeous Playa La Ropa Condo with Stunning Views just Steps from the Sand
Preciosa on the Bay est le complexe de condos le plus luxueux de Zihuatanejo. Situé juste en haut de la colline de Playa la Ropa, le sable est à moins de cinq minutes à pied. This place was a beautiful as it showed on VRBO. Great location, pool with fantastic view of the bay. The only downside was the many stairs leading up from the road. A couple times even the taxi couldn't make it up the drive. The condo itself could use some needed updating, especially the wall outlets as some where loose and almost coming out of the wall and maybe new linen as our room had stains on the bedding. But overall 4 of us had a great vacation, my wife and I would definitely return.

The location and view of this property are outstanding. We probably spent 90% of our time on the large patio enjoying the view of the bay. It is also close to many restaurants and La Ropa beach.
The on site staff are very friendly and helpful. Always willing to call a cab or provide some help with your groceries. The negative edge pool provided a pleasant experience during periods without specific plans.
The host Jack was very responsive to any questions we had. Very positive experience!

Preciosa is a beautiful property with an outstanding staff. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. The condo could be refreshed/ updated for a 5 star review. The water pressure is great, I was a little worried with it being on the 4 th floor, but it was good and the water heated up quickly. The washer and dryer worked great as well. This is a wonderful location with a nice walk to the beach and town.

The location decent. It was a 10-15 min walk down the steep road to get to the beach. The walk up was exhausting. There are taxis available to take you back up. Also the walk to town or decent restaurants was a little far. We cabbed everywhere. It’s not for the moblility challenged.

We had a wonderful time and the property was nice and quiet. Two property cats, gato and salsa, were fun to interact with especially salsa who likes to ride the elevator! I do have to say that renting a car was key to our enjoyment as it allowed us to get around easily to different areas as well as the beaches. Parking is easy as long as you are fine with driving in Mexico. The unit sits up on the hills and to get anywhere it’s a hike — home is all
uphill. With older people or young ones, this might be a consideration. You are not right on the beach. Beautiful view of Zihua from the deck and a bonus room so if you wake up early you can chill in there if it’s too humid on the deck as others sleep. Enjoy.

We have traveled to Playa Ropa several times and loved this condo, the view was fantastic, the condo was large and spacious. Although an older building it was well kept. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We really like the location of building, it was a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes into town. The pool is lovely and had it mostly to ourselves.

We have traveled to Playa Ropa several times and loved this condo, the view was fantastic, the condo was large and spacious. Although an older building it was well kept. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We really like the location of building, it was a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes into town. The pool is lovely and had it mostly to ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. It is conveniently located - just a 15 minute walk to the central area of Zihuat (which we walked to every morning) and a short walk to La Ropa beach. It is also just a 5 minute walk to several great restaurants. We loved the condo’s huge, very private, deck area with fabulous views and we also enjoyed the pool area, where we were often the only people by the pool. The condo was very spacious, clean and well equipped (perfect for our group of 4) and it was really nice to have our own washer/dryer in the unit. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location to walk to old Town Zihua as well as Playa La Ropa Beach. The view of the bay and sunsets were stunning. The on-site maintenance man was very helpful and we received a call from the property manager shortly after arriving offering services if needed. It was a delightful stay. We will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Preciosa.
The condo is great and the pool area is fantastic.
All the staff were very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome.
As Jack has mentioned there was some demolition work going on across the road but it did not spoil our visit.
The view is still spectacular.
The owner is very easy to communicate with.

Great place, breezy on the deck, everything that you need. It’s everything the pictures say plus. The staff here are excellent and helpful right away. The owner, Jack, is super nice and helpful. We love it here. Was a great spot for our two boys aged 10 and 13. It’s quite a steep walk up to the property but I liked the exercise.

Don’t tell anyone else
Zihuatanejo is a gem. Playa La Ropa is the most beautiful beach in the world.
Breakfast on the beach, lounging and swimming all day. Dinner in town or back on the beach. You cannot ask for more.
The Mexican people are beyond lovely. They are gentle, friendly and service oriented.
Just don’t tell anyone else about this wonderful vacation spot. Ok?

Amazing view, great staff and superb location.
We loved the view from the patio. Sunsets were particularly spectacular. The photos are accurate for the apartment but do not do it justice. The location is great. In between the beaches of playa La Ropa and Playa Madera. We easily walked to both and into town. Taxi’s continually drive by which was handy but we also had no trouble taking the very frequent public bus which also goes by the building. We liked that the building recycles and that water jugs for the cooler were provided whenever we needed a new jug. We liked being able to use the dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are comfortable. The staff downstairs are really helpful and friendly and Patricia was great. The owner Jack went out of his way to get us information on emergency medical services available just in case we needed it for my son who has a life threatening allergy to bee stings. The view from the pool was also lovely and the property is kept very clean. The only drawback I can see would be for people with limited mobility because it is quite steep and with a fair amount of stairs. I also would be a bit wary if my children were smaller with them on the patio because there is no railing (which of course improves the view but could be stressful with little ones). We stayed in this apartment for 9 nights and then for another 5 nights at another apartment on the hill overlooking La Ropa and we wished we were back at presocia. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this listing and hope to be back again.

Spectacular views
We stayed 2 weeks at the Precosia and we all loved it. La Ropa beach was beautiful, lovely and Sandy and great for swimming. The pool at the condo was lovely, it was great to cool down in the pool and gaze at the awesome views. The condo it self was lovely and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Zihuat was a lovely town and we felt safe walking through it day or night. Only one downfall is anyone with mobility issues this could be a problem as the area is very hilly and there are many stairs. We will be back for sure.
