The location truly is lovely, with hiking trails starting just outside the property. Good for a relaxing stay if you want to be close to nature. The apartment is simple, rustic and quiet. The shower is good: hot water and great water pressure. The apartment has its own entrance so you can be independent. The amenities provided are minimalistic, but sufficient. We were originally only given hand towels, so we asked for bath towels and those were provided. We also asked for kitchen basics: dish soap, a kitchen knife, a frying pan and a pot. Most of what we asked for was provided, and we were able to make our own meals in the kitchen.

The mattresses were not comfortable. The big bed had a spring mattress that sagged, especially with two people on it. The small bed, on the other hand, had a mattress that was so hard it felt almost like sleeping on the floor. Also, the curtains provided were flimsy and did not fully cover the window. We hung blankets or bedspreads over the windows and that worked. Some inaccurate and misleading information was provided here. The property's page states that our apartment has a balcony and mountain view; that was not true. It also lists a washing machine and tumble dryer as being available in the private kitchen. That was not the case. The page also indicated that the hosts speak English. In fact, they were unable to communicate at all with my native English-speaking partner. A few other reviewers said they enjoyed communicating with the hosts - my experience was different, as I found the host's style was to expound upon his opinions with little regard for what we may think, know, or be interested in. Maybe in part it was the generational gap. In any case, we mostly kept to ourselves and had a relaxing stay.
