The hotel was close to Plymouth Hoe and the town centre. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I managed to get a parking spot right outside, although £7 for the night seemed a bit steep. Breakfast was fantastic and the host was very welcoming.

Lots of stairs and no lift. Great if you are very active. The shared bathroom was on the floor above, which meant more stairs. If I were to stay again I would pay extra for an on suite.

Customer service was excellent. The premises very clean.

I needed a desk to work on in the evenings. Maybe a small foldable table can be available at guest request. I only managed to watch one channel ITV 1. Maybe some instructions could be provided on how to operate the TV and advise of channels available.

We had some noisy neighbours in the room above, but you get inconsiderate guests wherever you go!

Nothing it is a lovely guest house, was also given a parking voucher that cost £5 which was a lot cheaper than the meter charge

The shared shower room was very small and 2 floors up from my bedroom. There was the smell of cigarettes in the communal areas. They had forgotten to put towels in my room but I found clean towels in a cupboard on the landing and was not inconvenienced by the oversight.

Excellent BnB with facilities much better than average bnb. The best part was the warm hospitality by Debbie nothing was too much. Location was perfect with minutes to hoe, sea and good eating places. Will love to be back. Thanks to Debbie we also managed to get our cab in time to catch our train.

Breakfast was very good. Staff extremely hospitable. Toilet on different floor to my (known) non -ensuite room, but it was an inexpensive room so that was why! Comfy bed with high view of the city.Extra touches like a fan heater was nice. Very beautiful, grand old building.

Going to a different floor for the bathroom (which would have initially been a two floor trek, but the kind lady swapped my room with another single -thank you!).
