Location was great right in the heart of the city and walking distance to transport options and entertainment

It was really difficult to check in as we arrived late (flights delayed), got to the lockbox just in time and then the key to the door didn't work. Thankfully the reception staff at the hotel were very helpful once we had called the property management company. The neighbour LOVES cooking garlic - including for breakfast and the whole floor including the unit smells of it!

The description said the unit had a "kitchenette", we had two microwaves, no hot plate and the request was to put the dishes in the dishwasher on leaving. There wasn't a dishwasher

When we booked this venue we needed last minute accommodation for a week in Auckland, and it was available at a good rate.

The whole ordeal of dealing with this provider was crazy complicated, and for what should have been a fairly simple transaction, it was diabolically difficult. I have 26 email interactions with them. The first 8 were to get them to confirm that our booking had gone through as after I entered a credit card, I did not get a response for days and that's with me emailing and calling. All sorts of red flags arose from the start, but because the booking is non-refundable and I had to enter the credit card from the start, we couldn't change our mind and cancel. There's heaps more about this interaction and the room is literally one bed that you can barely move around, but to make things worse, the last email was a week after our stay where they released the second key deposit they mistakenly applied to my credit card.
