Property is well maintained. We had a few small glitches (water leak in another unit) but all was addressed quickly by management. There is plenty of room for a large family to sprawl out and be comfortable. We loved the views and the location! Highly recommend staying here for any large group.

Great place to stay for a large groups with a great location. We had 12 adults and five children under the age of eight. Condo was perfect for us. Please Close to everything and being right on the beach was wonderful. The sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. No beach towels were available so you need to bring your own beach towels.
We had an issue with one of the sliding glass doors off the living room, and maintenance came out quickly to resolve the issue. A part was needed so unfortunately it had to be ordered and we couldn’t use that side of the sliding glass door for the whole week. Every bedroom had a view of the ocean, so it was nice to be able to hear the ocean waves at night. Recommend.

I recommend this unit to families/ groups. The unit is very spacious and extremely clean. The Manager was extremely responsive. The location is great. The beach area was not crowded and we were able to walk to restaurants, arcades, and shopping. The outdoor pool/hot tub is small but not crowded.

This property was exactly what we needed. Our large group had plenty of room. Location can not be beat. Condo had all the provisions for cooking. Highly recommend.

Very nice oceanfront condo with plenty of space for everyone. My only frustration was that parking was very tight and that patrons without parking permits would park at the property which would force me to park across the street at the Public Parking Lot at my expense.

7 of us came down for a week of golf. The house was perfect as we could spread out and enjoy. Right on the water, the house was perfect!

We loved this condo!! So spacious - more space than I expected. Plenty of room for the 11 of us. It was beautiful with beautiful views. We had a blast and will return!!!

This was a perfect property for our family with 4 adult kids, their spouses, and our grandchildren (14 in total)! Plenty of open space in the condo. Rooms were great with the king beds for all the couples. Great beach access! The parking garage spaces are very tight, but nice that it is right on the property. My one complaint of the whole vacation would be the pool. It is very small and wasn't cleaned very well. Our family likes to have some ocean time and then a LOT of pool time, so this was disappointing for us, especially since we had toddlers. But overall, we would highly recommend this property. The hosts were great to work with and made check in and check out very easy.

Even LARGER than it looks online!
This unit was even more spacious than it seemed from the pix online. We had a blast meeting up for our first family reunion here. The only complaints we have are mattresses in many of the rooms need replaced- too hard and noisy. Plus a couple of the shower curtain liners were moldy and also need replaced (hence the 4* for cleanliness). Having 2 fridges was awesome for our large group and we loved being steps from the beach!

Great Location
We had a fantastic week at Ambassador Villa! 11 adults and 3 children had plenty of space to enjoy our time. The view of the beach is beautiful from both balconies. The location is within walking distance to shopping and dining. The young adults enjoyed the nightlife! Attractions were within a 15 minute drive. We did have two small issues but maintenance was very quick to resolve.

Great Condo by the Sea
We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The pool is too small to bother and the dishwasher didn't work but we just used paper and plastic instead. Right on beach, easy access to shopping, thank you!

The condo is in a nice area with great views, but requests for additional towels and pillows were not fulfilled. The property needs some updating as well. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for a few days though.

Gorgeous place...
Overall, we were very satisfied
The hiccups we experienced:
-took almost 4 days to get a parking pass for 1 vehicle, which had a notice that it would be towed
-Pool was not open. Being we had such a diverse group of people, it was one of perks of booking the place.
-took almost 4 days to get all the bath towels that we needed.
-Elevator was out several times during our stay, the longest out of service was 24 hours. However, we were most thankful that the elevator was working properly for our arrival & departure.
Overall, we loved the place, even with those hiccups

Crappy Elevator
The place was great the property sucked. The elevator was broken most of our stay and we had to walk up and down the steps (5th floor). My mom who is handicapped was stuck in the room most of our stay due to this. The hot tub as I understand has been broken for some time. Was told I would from someone and that still has not happened.

Roaches Should Have Paid
This home was in a great location and the views were amazing BUT forced to sleep with roaches took the cake. We discovered them within minutes of walking through the door. Two other families left as we were arriving for this very reason. Maintenance came quickly only to tell us that it would be a couple of days before they could get somebody out to exterminate and that there were no other properties available. Unfortunately because it was Christmas Eve when we arrived, finding another place at the last minute for 13 people was impossible. Christmas is my birthday and we wanted to get away and do something different. Four hours away from home, this may have been the worst Birthday ever.

Perfect for a large group!!
We were a group of 12 for my husbands 50th. We loved the space and the location of this beautiful condo! The only small issue we had was one of the bedrooms the breaker tripped a couple of times and the lights weren’t working, but it was all good because my husband just fixed it himself. I didn’t call because we resolved the issue, it was no big deal! Would definitely stay here again!!

Best Family Reunion so far!
My husband and I have 6 children, some married, some not; some with little kids and some without any. This is our 4th year of having a family reunion. We started the year 2 of my children were married. This is the 4th place we've rented and this place by far has been the best! Our children live all over the US and the International airport made it very convenient for them to get to Myrtle. The condo was spacious, clean, and the views were amazing! I conversed with Toni, the property manager, regarding some airline timing issues and our entry into the condo and she was most helpful!! Very pleasant and quick to respond. The variety of options for activities around the area was wonderful and appealed to all ages. It was a family consensus that we will make this our place for our yearly reunion until we outgrow it :-) We had a great time and have already made our reservations for next year.

Nice Condo
The beds were uncomfortable, the furniture felt a little dirty and the pool was small. Loved the size of the condo there was plenty of room for all of us (13) and having two refrigerators was awesome!!!

Large Ocean Drive Condo
The overall accommodations were satisfactory. The location in relation to Main St and the beach access/views were convenient. Connecting to WiFi was initially troublesome, since the password had changed and was only noticed on the refrigerator. It is posted on the advertised site that only 4 parking passes are issued. Requests were denied by the HOA even though it was off season and the parking lot was not full. The lot across the street was not available for parking as another reviewer had stated. The unit accommodates 20 guests, but plan for 4 cars accordingly. Except for the inconvenience of having to find alternate parking, the overall stay was acceptable.

It was Ok
Needs upgrading. Floor Tiles were broke, supposed to have been remodeled. It appeared to have been a homeowner remodel with little experience. Beds were ok for a week no longer. Receptionists we spoke with about propperty were not the friendliest. First impressions are everything and that wasn't a good start.

Large and accommodating... close to the beach and great views
This was great for a large group with kids. We had a total 16 people consisting of five families with five children. It had a well stocked kitchen. We did have to was towels multiple times which was a pain but okay. There were some millipede type bugs found. And some of the tiles were loose in places that you had to be careful of the floor. The elevator didn’t work when we first arrived and we had to lug all of our stuff up flights of steps. We tried to call the emergency numbers could not reach anyone. That evening the elevator was fixed so someone got through. The view was great and it was right on the beach. We had a great stay.

Had a great stay!
I give this property 5 stars because it's large, has a well-stocked kitchen (2 refrigerators, crock pot, large griddle), 2 balconies, nice view, pool table, A/C, was clean and right on the ocean.
My main issue was with parking - it said we got 4 spaces, but I don't think there was a time when we could actually find parking for all 4 of our cars. Luckily there was a vacant lot across the street that we used.
There were no hand towels - thought that was weird. Just bath towels and wash cloths.
We would have liked to have a few beach items that could be used (umbrella & chairs).
The pool is small. 3-4 feet deep and it's only about 14'x6'....but with the warm ocean right there, who cares? :)
One of the pool cues was broken, so we bought a new one - so that shouldn't be a problem for future guests. We also bought and left some hot pot holders, as there didn't seem to be any of those there.
We had a great stay and would definitely go back!

Amazing family reunion with our group. The condo was great for the occasion.
Pros: location, location. Amazing view and easy access right to the beach, large seating area for all in kitchen area, two fridges, patio chairs, even though there were only 6 the beach chairs were a plus, and the variety of kitchen pots and pans was great.
Cons: unfortunately I did not receive my check in instruction email before we arrived. We were somewhat disappointed at how the house was "stocked". It was somewhat covered in the email I was sent after check in but still felt we would have been disappointed. First of all there were no seasonings, no anything extra in the kitchen. We were given a starter kit of one trash bag, one toilet paper per room, one dishwasher thing, and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. This was outlined in the email but a surprise on check in not having received that email. No hand soaps, no extras of any kinds. Be prepared to BUY everything. We even bought beach towels.
We had a large group and we each had one hand towel and one washcloth a person. It was almost comical that you had to guard your towel all week. No beach towels at all. Coming across the country we definitely didnt have room to pack beach towels. The towels & sheets also could definitely be upgraded. We did not use the pool but it is much smaller than it looks in the pictures.
Besides the small issues and having to purchase so much extra the condo was perfect for our occasion and very comfortable for our two older parents who slept in the rooms upstairs. Again, location, location made it all worthwhile!!
