The Ocean House is amazing! Beautiful view of the ocean and the infinity pool is wonderful. Liz helped book all dinner reservations and excursions. Maudrina is so sweet! She kept the house immaculate, and cooked us some amazing meals. Great vacation for our family of 6. Highly recommend!

We loved our Stay at the Ocean house! Liz the property manager was beyond helpful answering any and all questions. The house is beautiful with an amazing view and great layout for a family. Maudrina the housekeeper was a pleasure to be around as she is so sweet! The view is spectacular and we all loved the infinity pool. Antigua is gorgeous and everyone we encountered was so incredibly sincere and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

The Ocean House! It’s hard to put into words how wonderful the house and location are! Seeing really is believing. Wonderful sunsets, stunning views and just 20 steps to your own private jetty, with kayaks and paddle boards to allow you to travel to one (or more) of the numerous, small sandy beaches that dot the coastline and can only be accessed from the sea. The house is fabulously well appointed, with four en suite double bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen and stylish living area (with all the streaming services you or the family could want). The house is located near the end of a private road in a quite residential area, with the only noice coming from the birds chirping! The lovely Maudrina comes to the house every day to clean, tidy and generally check that everything is ok. You must also ask Maudrina to cook you a meal at some point during your stay, so you can enjoy her sumptuous Caribbean inspired cooking. The Ocean House is perfectly located to access the wonderful beaches and restaurants in the North of the Island (check out Dickinson bay and Casa Roots in particular), but because the island isn’t huge, you can easily get to English Harbour in the south within an hour. If you prefer to cook yourself then Epicurean is the place to shop. A mix of British, American and Caribbean brands and foods (Waitrose own brand pasta somewhat incongruously located beside American brands like La Croix and skinny Pop). Finally the holiday was made complete by the very considerate advice of Niki, Liz and Kat, who know the island like the back of their hand and helped cut corners when organising the car rental, taxis and restaurants. All in all a wonderful stay and we most aim to return! Tim

Just go ahead and book this property! The listing pictures are amazing and still don't do it justice! Liz is amazing. Made the process super easy! Maudrina took great care of us. Went on a family girls trip and we hated to leave the property and our new friends! Everyone goes above and beyond so that you can really rest! Will be back as soon as we can get back! I would agree with earlier reviewers who say that the photographs do not do justice to this villa, which is quite exceptional. Waking up in the morning to the view across the pool to the ocean was very special, and watching the New Year fireworks from the jetty was something I won’t forget in a hurry. Liz was extremely helpful, both before and after we arrived, dealing promptly with all our queries, organising car hire, dinner reservations etc and putting us in touch with Fenella the chef who cooked us a wonderful meal one evening. Her attention to detail is obvious in the way that everything in the villa is just right, and we were amazed to find not only a Xmas tree but a Real one! We used the gas bbq most days, and the more energetic among us loved swimming in the sea from the jetty, and kayaking to deserted beaches. We could easily have spent all our time at the villa, but enjoyed trips around the island, and would recommend Half Moon Beach with its wonderful little beach bar and no hotels nearby. English Harbour was also fun to visit, with Nelsons Dockyard, and we spent a brilliant Sunday evening at the Shirley Heights ‘shindig’ with live music, great jerk chicken and lethal rum punches! As well as the ‘Beach Bums’ beach bar at Half Moon beach, and Jacquie O’s for lunch we particularly enjoyed Sheer Rocks restaurant (they also do wonderful tapas at lunchtime) and the Cove at the Blue Waters hotel which is walking distance from the villa. Maudrina could not have been more helpful and kind, and kept the villa looking beautiful throughout our stay, as well as helping us with local information, and generally being a pleasure to have around! It was perfect for us, and we would love to return someday.

This was one of the best trips that we have even been on. Words cannot truly describe how wonder Liz, Maudrina and her staff were with helping us plan the trip and during the trip. Anytime that I sent her a message and needed help with contacts, Liz answered right away and gave us the best suggestions on what to do while we were there. She even helped set them up for us. From the time that we walked into the front door of this beautiful house, we knew that we had picked the best one. The pictures are amazing but, truly don't do this house justice. And, to speak on how amazing Maudrina is would be an understatement. We left feeling like she was family to us. I HIGHLY recommend this rental and the ease of dealing with Liz. We will be back!!

I would stay there again and will tell my friends all about how fantastic it was to stay at the Ocean house. Mattresses and sheets made rest at end of day feel like heaven. Views were breath taking. Dock on property to jump into ocean so much fun. Owner and maid were so lovely and anxious to help with anything.

We rented the Ocean House to attend a wedding in Antigua. We were completely overjoyed with our experience from beginning to end. Liz and Maudrina were angels. Everything was sparkling clean, well organized and ready for our visit. We had our young grandchild with us and they were very accommodating with a crib, highchair, and car seat. They bought groceries which were waiting for us upon arrival, and they had arranged to have a warm, delicious, home-cooked meal for us our first night - after a long day of travel. Perfection! The house is stunning, well-appointed, and suited for families with children. The pool is beyond gorgeous and we spent long hours each night soaking in the water, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company under the stars. I highly recommend this property. Liz and Maudrina were attentive to our every need. We would return in a heartbeat and were very sorry when we had to leave. It truly is paradise.

Antigua is beautiful and so is this house. It was well stocked, very clean and Liz and Maudrina were wonderful. We would definitely recommend this house. The view is incredible!

There were 8 of us meeting in Antigua to celebrate a couple of big milestone birthdays and we had high expectations. I have to say that those expectations were far exceeded! Liz and her team were responsive, helpful and so welcoming. Maudrina made us the most amazing dinner and having some groceries purchased before arrival was an excellent idea (thanks Liz!) The house itself is one of those places that you just can't quite believe is real and the pool with ocean front views was a constant source of happiness! We ate many of our meals at home as we had a fully stocked kitchen and a brand new BBQ. The outdoor dining area was a highlight and the many lanterns with candles made it such a great atmosphere. This house was everything we hoped for and more and we're already trying to plan a trip back.

This was by far the best vacation I have had. My family and I have been to other places in the Caribbean and loved them ; however Antigua and especially this particular house left us wanting for more. When we arrived, Roger the driver was there waiting for us and is so patient. We were 8 in total and he drove us wherever we needed to go, and always on time. Liz is the property manager and since I had booked the house since December, I have been communicating with her via email all the time and she always responded quickly and with all the details I needed. She made it so easy for us and when I finally met her on our vacation , what an amazing person. She is so humble and pleasant. Michelle was there to meet us as well and had helped also in the preparation of flying out to Antigua. Maudrina is amazing! She comes every day and it was always nice to see her lovely smile. She will be at the house for a few hours just helping us out with cleaning, laundry if needed and always make sure that we had a nice comfy bed to sleep in at night after the activities. The house is exactly if not better than what you see in the pictures. The infinity pool is to die for. We woke up every morning and sat down to just watch the beautiful sun and eat breakfast. It is so peaceful and no noise; just the birds singing. The house is kept clean and is so beautiful. Antigua is such a beautiful place. Trust Liz to tell you what you should do when you are in town and she will reserve them for you too. You should go to Shirley heights, Take the party boat around the Island with WADADLI CATS boat. They were amazing, and the food was so goood. So much and so much to do but we always went back to the house and felt at home. Thank you Liz, Michelle, Maudrina and Roger. Can’t wait to come back with the kids next time ❤️

My husband and I stayed on Antigua twenty-five years ago for our honeymoon. We decided to bring with our three children and we will not wait another twenty-five years to return. Liz was extremely helpful with information prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. The house is gorgeous and each bedroom has their own en-suite bathroom! The kitchen has everything you need and the infinity pool/patio and views were our favorite part of the vacation. Liz arranged for a car rental for us upon arrival and we were able to explore the island throughout the week. The house is located next to a 5 star resort and we walked there for lunch and spa treatments as well as breakfast on another day. An additional perk to this house is the impeccable cleanliness because Maudrina arrives daily to clean and make sure we had everything we needed. She also cooked two amazing meals for us during the week, one was from the fish we caught that day! My children surprised us on our anniversary day and we renewed our vows on the dock at sunset and Maudrina and Liz assisted with the arrangements, we will forever be grateful. The location of the house is less than a 10 minute drive to a grocery store where you will find everything you need for your vacation. We loved our week at The Ocean House and hope to return soon!

From the minute you walk in the front door, you are WOWed by the views. The pool faces west so you get the most spectacular sunset views. The house is very clean. The pool is spotless, kitchen and bathrooms are very well kept. The only thing I'd say about cleanliness is that the bed skirt in one of the rooms had brown splatter on it and the soap dispensers in the bathrooms were corroded so the soap smelled a bit off. There were also quite a bit of mosquitos in the house, but that can vary based on weather. The housekeeper, Maudrina, was the absolute best. We paid to have her make us breakfast throughout our stay and everything she made was delicious. We booked a private chef for part of our stay (Alison) and her food was AMAZING. 11/10! The location of the villa is very convenient—just minutes from beautiful beaches, grocery stores, and local restaurants. Some of the more high end restaurants like Sheer Rocks are across the island (45 min drive) but it's well worth the drive. We rented a car and had no issues getting around. Yes, they drive on the right side, and yes there are tons of potholes, but if you just take your time and drive carefully you'll have no issue. I would highly recommend renting a car as you get to see so much more of the island that way. We visited during the off season so some of the restaurants were closed, but we ate at Ana's on the Beach, Papa Zouk, and Sheer Rocks and would highly recommend all 3. DO NOT waste your money by eating at The Palms restaurant at the Blue Waters Resort next door. All in all, my group enjoyed our stay at the Ocean House and would recommend in a heartbeat!

Had a wonderful stay with my family at the Ocean House, the property is well maintained and the views are breathtaking. Liz has excellent communication skills, Nikki was very informative, and Mauderina is simply the best! The house is close to everything and watching the sunset from the infinity pool is a one in a kind experience. Loved the place, definitely worth the money, highly recommend it. We cannot say enough about our stay at The Ocean House! We have stayed at many 5 Star resorts throughout the Caribbean, however this vacation tops all of them because it truly was so relaxing. We cannot thank Liz enough for organizing every detail before we got there included making dinner reservations, taxi arrangements & even food shopping for us. Maudrina the housekeeper became family by the end of the trip & could not do enough for us while we were there! Liz & Maudrina truly make sure that everything is organized so there’s is zero stress while in vacation. The house is absolutely stunning as well, in just a few steps from your bedroom you have amazing views. We went snorkeling everyday off the dock which is just few steps down from the house. Everything you want from a vacation is here at The Ocean House & we most certainly will be returning! Also we highly highly recommend booking Fennella the Chef to come cook you dinner at the house. All of her meals were 10/10 especially the rum ginger pork! If you truly want to relax & have a stress free vacation then The Ocean House is for you!

Our family of 7, including our 5 year old granddaughter spent 7 delightful days at the Ocean House. The setting and views couldn't have been better. The house is open and airy and worked very well for our family. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. The owner Liz and housekeeper Maudrina were lovely and helpful. We can't wait to return to Antigua and especially the Ocean House.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean house. Liz made us feel welcome from the booking to departure. The sunset views were amazing and the wonderful dock, infinity pool and lanai provide endless ways to enjoy them. The house is beautifully appointed and extremely well maintained. We loved our week there and can’t wait to visit again.

We had a lovely time at the Villa, it is in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the Caribbean Sea! A couple of things to be mindful of, mosquitoes, definitely need bug spray but this is kindly provided and also if you want to get out and explore then it is fair to say you will need a car, we ere happy to stay poolside though. The area is quiet and the owners/management are friendly. We really did have a lovely time and would recommend

We were 4 couples and all of us agreed this house was superb. Very comfortable, super clean, lovely infinity pool and view, kitchen was well equipped. All the beds are comfortable, fans and AC in every room. Everything works. No complaints at all. A special thank you for the housekeeper Maudrina who was wonderful. Visitors should know the roads in Antigua are quite bad , pot holes and traffic, so allow time to get around. Avoid the beaches where the Cruise ships bus people to. Than means avoid beaches near and around St Johns they get quite crowded.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean House. The view is truly spectacular, overlooking blue water beach. Regarding the villa, what you see us what you get, it has a warm and open islandly feel, very spacious, immaculately clean with everything functional. The yard is lush and well-kept with a large outdoor dining table overlooking the ocean, which we took full advantage of. The owner and staff, Liz & Maudrina, were very accommodating and helpful. Wonderful

This was our first trip to Antigua and The Ocean House but it will not be our last! From the very beginning, even before we got to the house, our expectations were met and exceeded. Liz was a gracious host helping us out with transportation, grocery shopping, and making reservations. Maudrina the housekeeper is amazing. She is so nice and by the end of the week it was like she was a part of our family. And we were connected with Arlene a local woman that drives a taxi. She was wonderful. She took us shopping one day and helped us out with where to go and what to do. She also became part of the family. Antigua itself is beautiful and everyone is very nice and helpful. We had everything we needed plus more. It was really like staying in our own personal private 5 Star Resort.

The Ocean House is truly a beautiful property. We have traveled all over the Caribbean and this house is one of the nicest we have stayed at. The house is well equipped and the furnishings are modern and comfortable. The pool and back yard have a resort feel with comfortable loungers and outdoor seating. Liz, the property manager, was lovely and very helpful. She was responsive and accessible with answers to our questions. One unfortunate annoyance was several barking dogs in the neighborhood. Other than that, the House is awesome and the views are incredible. We did, however, have an unfortunate incident on the island. We were robbed on one of the local beaches, Turners Beach. In broad daylight, two men snuck up behind our daughters sitting in beach chairs and stole two purses. 3 iPhones, cash, credit cards, drivers license, and other personal belongings were stolen. The police were inept and not helpful. To add insult to injury, the keys to the car rental (Lions Car Rental) were in one of the purses. Due to the missing set of keys, the car rental agency demanded we pay a sum of +$800 to Re-key the car. When we disputed the charge, they threatened to call the police and the immigration department. The police did get involved and strongly advised us to pay the sum or face severe consequences. While the police were not explicit in what these consequences would be, we interpreted this as a threat of legal action or not being able to leave the country. We ended up paying the sum and not risk any further action. It was hugely disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouths that the island of Antigua is corrupt. We believe we were extorted and taken advantage of. The whole experience was horrific for our family and especially our teenage daughters. While the Ocen House is quite lovely, we will never return to Antigua given our experience.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Liz was so accommodating to our needs. The home is pristine and comfortable at the same time. Maudrina is wonderful. We did a chef dinner our final night and it was the perfect way to end. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great time at the house. House is beautiful and is better than pictures show. House was very clean and tastefully decorated. Host was very nice and helped a lot to make our trip a great experience. If I ever return to Antigua, I will love to stay at this property again.
