The only thing I didn’t like was paying $75 for overnight parking while staying at the hotel , seems excessive .

The friendly staff. The food was delicious. The room was clean.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. The only thing I had to wait some for my room.

Dog friendly. Gold lounge was awesome with good quality food throughout the day. Staff there was exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay. Pool and spa was great with lots of clean towels available.

Its a little ugly around the property with construction and a dirty park.

Value. My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont to celebrate our 19th anniversary. For us, this was a destination. We didn't need a place to stay. We came specifically for Fairmont's Gold level experience . We've experienced this twice before and it has always been wonderful --enough for us to come again. This time, however, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Soon after arriving we changed into our swimsuits to head to the pool and hot tub--told it was closed due to glass in the pool and would not be reopened for 2-3 days. The night time food that was served was truly subpar. Tortilla chips that seemed like they had been left out overnight soft/stale, greasy potato chips. Overall selection was poor. Dessert was incredibly disappointing---for our previous visits, it felt almost magical walking in to the assortments of sweets from candies, to pies, tarts and cakes that filled the entire room. This visit had a pudding, lemon tart and macaroons on a small area. Truest opinion is that there is a HUGE budget cut that has happen here without the price being reflected for the Gold Experience. If this was a Best Western we would have loved everything and thought --"well, some days are better than others". It's the value and response we're unhappy with---$780 for one night. There are few normal people that would EVER spend this for one nights stay. We wouldn't either--except that it's the way we chose to spend our special day--swimming in the pool, lounging in the hot tub and having great food. Further, after sharing our experience with the staff member at the Gold desk she said there was nothing she could do about it because we booked through booking.com. Not believable. We will never be back again--but I'm pretty sure there isn't enough care here for anyone to truly do something different until enough people echo my sentiments.
