Spacious rooms, quiet, lush landscaping, amazing comfort and service!

We had to leave it after 4 days ;)

closeness to beach, beach loungers, umbrellas, quiet complex, 2 pool areas, outdoor bar and restaurant, excellent staff and very clean/comfortable condo. Walkable to other restaurants and town. half mile to grocery store.

Where to start…The staff needs to be trained on hospitality and customer service. I was shocked at the dismissive and outright RUDE attitude of the staff. The lady at the front desk was incredibly unpleasant and rude when I asked her to please not have a leaf blower outside of my room at 8am. No apologies, she just smugly looked at me and ignored me. Next the waiter at Pelican Bay (on-site restaurant) was truly one of the most unpleasant waiters I’ve ever encountered. He was rude from the moment he sat us down. We even asked if he was ok because he was so annoyed he had to serve us. Sorry you hate your job but please don’t be so nasty. He took over an hour to bring scrambled eggs, forgot my drink, my toast, rolled his eyes when I asked for water…just a damn mess. Sadly, the second day, his service was no better. Finally gave up and skipped breakfast on the third day because he was so darn unpleasant. Finally, the chair attendant. On my first day, I asked if he could help me move the sun umbrella and he said…and I quote “you can do it yourself, why do you need help”, mind you… he was doing nothing and was on his phone. I was holding a drink, my towel, my bag…it was crazy! I’ve never encountered so many rude staff members in one place of business. The staff just doesn’t really care about the customer at this place. They are on their phones, roll their eyes when you ask for something, never smile, it’s insane. And it wasn’t cheap. These people are part of the hospitality industry but you’d never know from staying here. Do not stay here. At happy hour, chatted up several folks who said the exact same thing, that the staff was rude. There are way better places, the place next door for example—lovely staff. Oh forgot to mention, they have a man tending to the grounds w a weed whacked/ leaf blower every morning at 8am. LOVELY ON VACAY!

The garden view was amazing. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning taking in the beautiful scenery, feeling the cool breeze coming in from the ocean and listening to the calming music. The entire staff made sure we felt at home away from home.

If there would be anything to complain about I would have to say that my stay was not long enough. 5 days was not enough time to really enjoy everything that Grace Bay has to offer.
