The apartment was fairly clean when we arrived. The aircon and Wi-Fi worked efficiently throughout our stay. Also I liked the sense of security around the place.

My biggest shock was for the bed not to have sheets!!?? It was my first time to come across this and my assumption was this is standard for any accommodation service provider. We also at least expected basic provisions to be available upon arrival such as toilet paper, washing up liquid, kitchen swabs, and for somewhere to empty our bin regularly.

I have been to over 50 countries around the world and stayed in a lot Airbnb/ apartments/ hotels. Therefore, I always appreciate a thorough review as it gives a clearer idea of what to expect upon arrival. With that said, I will start from the very beginning: 1. I booked for a couples days the money was completely non refundable then I was told it had to be a minimum of one week (then why am I given the option to book for less?) 2. At check-in, I was informed that I had to pay a $200 usd deposit before staying there, which is fine I guess. 3. The actual estate is beautiful with very nice buildings and 24 hrs security. Plus the staff is super friendly and warm. They have an office at the front where they work from and that’s separate from the others that oversees the ground maintenance. 4. The apartment is big and has a lot space, however, the furniture is old and needs an update. Except the kitchen which has good enough appliances though old too. 5. You are given a long list of items to check each and every single item in the apartment even individual sheets and yet not a single towel was provided nor cloth to clean the kitchen with. 6. The internet is slow and the videos buffer non stop. I had access to Netflix and after 2 days I was kicked out saying that the login is on too many devices. I had my own so that wasn’t really an issue. The DSTV that is said to be provided only shows at best 6 channels that nobody really watches. 7. The electricity is prepaid and your warned that should it finish you will need to pay to top up and the same goes for the internet. 8. The water stopped flowing in the master bathroom but I didn’t report it I just used the other one that’s my fault for not letting them know. 9. Thé à/c needs updating too. Especially the one in the master bedroom. All in all, the apartment had most things you’ll need to feel at home. I didn’t hate my stay and would recommend it.

My booking did not include breakfast. Regarding location, it is an ideal place for all travel purposes - work, tourism etc. The apartments are located in a splendid, clean and quiet environment with high-level security.

One or two facilities in my apartment were in bad condition; the AC in the main room was leaking, for example. Most taxi drivers do not know the location - Ballon gate/Regimanuel apartments in Kwabenya. Recommend using Uber.

The location is good with 24/7 Security and its easy to get access to public transport and give direction to others.The manager (Nahid) was very Professional and ready to help with the entire staff.

I had a couple of issues with some of the facilities which were fixed or resolved upon reporting.I think they need to do a bit of renovation or upgrade some of the things like the bathroom I had.

The property is in a good location with easy access to almost anything you need. I liked that it’s a gated community with good security which gives you peace of mind. The staff are amazing, from the manager to the janitors. They were always very nice and helpful.

The property could use some maintenance. A few things mainly the bathrooms, were not in the best of condition. Whilst it’s a nice place, the maintenance is lacking which was a tad bit disappointing. With a bit of maintenance or a culture of continuous maintenance to keep the place looking good and well maintained, it’s definitely the place to be.

The staff was very friendly, the area is clean and quiet, we are grateful to the manager for all her help. There are many small shops within walking distance for essentials. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Balloon Gate - Regimanuel.

It will take a while to travel any distance because of traffic and I would recommend a taxicab because they know the shortest route.
